I disagree. The music has been childish and boring. There are 2 types of music. Music you listen to with friends and music you listen to alone. Trivium has been making more of the former these days, they're trying to become relevant again and it's the music that's suffering. In short, they sold out.

@@cadentboss_4615 I've been a fan since 2005 too! Saw the Ascendancy tour 3 times! I've seen them on every tour since, right up until the pandemic started! They are as good live as the albums. I have never been disappointed by their live performances! Plus, they are amazing guys who love to talk with their fan base.

This album is amazing all the way through!!!!!! Not a single bad song or a song that isn't as great as the others. This could be trivium best album they've ever released. It's like they took everything I loved from each album and put it into this!!!!!!

Trivium never let’s up. They never take a song off. There are no fillers. This record just keeps getting better and better the deeper in you go. The riffs, the progressions, the breakdowns, and I heard Matt say in an interview, they put lots of thought into the various choruses. Awesome record.

That riff around 3 min is so dam epic it was stuck all day in my head, star smashing album !

First came Like Callisto To A Star In Heaven, and now it’s Like A Sword Over Damocles 🔥🔥 P.S: Not to forget Like Light To The Flies as well haha

this song has it all, blast beats, a great chorus, long solos, my favorite song by far.

This is probably the best piece of instrumentalisation that Matt and Corey have ever written. Hearing them both aggressively bounce off of one another in the riffs and solo's is something they should continue to do. Alex's drumming is insane. Josh Wilbur also balanced the production really well, what he does is usually trash as he makes the drums sound way too loud which drowns out the guitars, but he actually produced a good album here.

Josh ended up balancing the band's time and energy really well by making sure all elements were equally catered for. You obviously have no idea about music production, or production in general.

Travis was awesome. After he left, it seemed as if there was a giant void left in this band for 10 years. After this album, I'm convinced the void has been filled. This is Trivium finding themselves again. What a badass album. This ties with Shogun.
