I was 15 years old in 2005 sitting in a pizza restaurant/takeaway with a couple of friends. Another friend came in and he shows me the music video for this song on his Sony Ericsson phone. I became an instant fan and 19 years later I'm still here rocking to this song

Hes also doing the proper technique now as before he was litarly just screaming. He has stated that its easier to do this scream than it is to speak so he can sustain it better

When i see the music video it looks nothing like trivim. I saw an interview where they said they didnt wanna do the whole emo thing but the record label kept telling them they had to because thats what was popular at the time, and even though they considered themselves metalheads growing up with iron maiden, metallica, death, suffocation, king diamond and more they ended up having to be "emo" for that music video.

Did Matt use vocal fry in screaming part? It sounds so quite and powerless to be called a scream imo

Tommy N I’m pretty sure he did. Fry screams in general are actually not as loud as we’d think, and Matt also had to relearn how to scream after damaging his voice.

Yeah, it's still vocal fry, Matt just doesn't project it with his diaphragm at all, which could put some real nice power behind it if he did.

Loved the band but have all the respect for the the guitarist cause he carries the rest 100%

Koncert perfecto z deski - lecz moi drodzy - na froncie było bagno totalne. Corey za cicho / Matt za głośno / Bass słabo siedział w miksie oraz chaotycznie nagłośniona perkusja. Zawiodłem się na tym koncercie mimo ze dali mega popis - lecz pan co robił im nagłośnienie powinien stracić prace.
