One more thing - the trick to front flipping it is to learn which finger needs to touch the bend in the clip. For most people it will be the middle finger. It just lands in that spot, providing robust grip and keeping the base of your index finger from getting in the way of the front flipper. You quickly build a muscle memory patterns for that fella, too. After owning it for two months and frequently carrying and using it, and having it as my standby fidget toy, I'm willing to say this is the best fidget knife I've ever held in my hand, and is my #1 "underdog" knife I would recommend to anyone who is willing to try something new, underrated and cool. Actually, I think it is my second favorite knife to use after Civivi Qubit.
Cool blend of old and new. I dig it.

Right on Rusty!
It reminds me of the old school straight razers I used to carry back in my punk rock days. I actually really like it. Happy birthday bud. Eat some cake for me.

Thanks Shamus!
It's been neat to see companies take old patterns and make modern interpretations of them the last few years. Very cool to see someone make a new version of the Higo! Cheers, buddy!

Very good!
Just received mine (bought off a fellow EDC guy who disliked it for the ergos). Fell for it immediately after seeing the photo because I spent last 4 months complaining about the fact Sencut Bronte is not a button lock. I love it. Has the perfect blade size, nice utility, and mine's buttery smooth with no stick. Already worked out some opening methods that feel natural for this knife. Literally the only thing I could complain about here is the spring in mine - very noisy compared to my five other button locks that are completely noiseless.

Everybody be hatin on the long flipper tab until it's 24 degrees out and they're wearing thick gloves! 😁

You're right about the flipper tab. It is really tall!! It'll interfere with the opening, especially if you're not used to it. Good review!

Yikes. All kinds of 'nope' for me going on with this knife. Front flipper. Button lock. Egregiously long flipper tab that could easily catch something and flip the blade out accidentally. And it can terminate early on your hand depending on how you hold it? If there were Razzie awards for knife designs, this would be the champion 😆 In its defense, I do think the profile and blade shape are nice. I dig how angular it looks. 10cr doesn't offend me as much as the other issues, either! Thanks for the look at it JB! 👍

I currently don't own any front-flipper knives, so I really can't speak to them. However, I would like to get one for my collection someday, just so I can try to understand what the craze is all about them?!! Anyway, thanks for this review, take care and Cheers!

Front flippers vex me. If they are too short, it’s very hard to use. Of course with a longer lever it’s easy to use. The trick is to find the Goldilocks zone. Thee other question is which is worse, a long front flipper tab or a big flipper tab on a detent or assisted opening knife?
@BigRedEDC
