For me, none of these got laughs out of me. The ones I found hilarious were the ones that were almost played off like straight answers "What Canadian province w-" "America"

The idea of there being a hardcore punk song called "Give Me A Sweet Kiss, I Love You" just warms my heart

I like how on a like, moral level, Adam doesn't want his little honking noise to count, but the moment Teri suggests that it doesn't, his competitive side is like "I can't believe you would attack me like this."

I dearly wish that, for the last question, Adam had just screamed "The Dutch!" at the top of his lungs.

Get a lovely NRB notification, house rules no less, and press play. I was laughing so hard that at the 25 min mark, my husband came through to see what all the noise was about. I realise that I've been lied to my entire life. Never in my life have I played this game and get to roll again if I got a question right. Someone in my family has a lot of explaining to do.

it's bizarre that this is the more accessible and replayable version of trivial pursuit, it's basically cards against humanity with less cards and more board, you don't need to know anything, you just need to be slightly drunk with your mates and say things in a funny way

this just feels like a game of cards against humanity . and im all for it :D

This episode of house rules really show what I love about this channel. I wish dearly I had enough friends to do a board game time, where we can crack jokes and just have a fun time. Meanwhile one or two of us are trying our best to win the game, while others target them because their a try hard. I'm just too introverted to even text people I used to go to high school with. At least I can feel like I'm apart of experiencing these videos with them. They're the kind of friends I want to have.

I was introduced to NRB by a friend showing me the Blood on the Clocktower playthroughs, and I'm so glad I decided to take a peek at what other content the channel has to offer. The overall dynamic and banter of the group regardless of who all is present is just so heartwarming and fun, plus I've been inspired to buy and play a couple of these board games myself! Constantly looking forward to what's new from NRB nowadays 😁

If I have learned anything... it's that people LOVE statistics. If you could start tracking who wins, tied wins, losses, co op stats... It would honestly be amazing. Like a little 'games won' counter vs games played at the start of a NRB episode would really add to it I think.

My sister and I play Scrabble essentially the same way. If you can’t come up with a word, you play a phrase or misspelled word and it only counts if the other person laughs. Limited vocabulary person Scrabble.

Last time I played trivial pursuit it took us 30 mins to realise that we were playing an edition from 1990. Prague is not the capital of Czechoslovakia.

HOUSE RULES IDEA:::: Chess. (Mixed with Super Fight) Whenever you try and take a piece each player will draw a random Character card, and the attacker will draw an Ability card. Then you debate on whether the attacker could actually win in the fight. If so, he takes the piece like normal. If no, it was a turn wasted.
