Triumph Spitfire MK1 Exhaust Sound
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Found in a farmhouse in rural Lower Austria, this 1964 Spitfire4 (Mk1, 1147ccm 4 inline overhead valve engine, front disk, rear aluminium drum brakes, independent rear suspension with a transvers leave) with an original fiberglass Lenham Fastback Hardtop was raced extensively in Rallies, Hillclimbs and endurance races by Oswald Gertner until 1966 in Austria - now back on the mountain roads it once race on competing in its time against the now famous Helmut Marko (as well on Spitfire in 1966) and other great names.
In a 5 year process the car was completely restored, focussing on revitalizing it’s 60s privateer racer character, not building a replica. A lot of effort was put in to keep all original equipment such as the primitive rollbar, 5.5” Dunlop steel wheels, rear SAH reverse leaf and other features from its first career were kept. Only the original bonnet was beyond restorable and for today’s use a new aftermarket Rally-bonnet was fitted.
Now back on road and track, the small, light and high revving Spitfire4 suits still ideally to the Austrian roads and is regularly driven by the proud owner on various classic car events.

very well edited, nice video.
Beautiful car
very good
Why title a video "exhaust sound" and play music for 2/3rds of the video?
Feel like he's slamming the door. Probably just sticky, but damn.

The doors are always bar stewards to shut.
