seriously, what exactly is the point of this video. It just looks like a summary of the initial ride videos of each of these bikes which came out at their respective launch time. Where is any useful insights based on the side by side comparison?

I would say that the comparison isn't correctly done. Triumph 400 + Hunter 350 + Honda highness RS 350 would have been the better comparison. And on the other hand Honda highness CB350 + RE classic + Harley 440 would have been the better comparison.

Hunter is a cheaper bike with least character and quality of all RE bikes. It's simply outclassed here.

own interceptor for 4 years. clocked only 21k km and put dent in pocket every 3 months for replacing different spare parts including chain sprocket, fuel injector, gear sensor, throttle cable etc.

Watching this even though my Speed 400 delivery is due next week. 🤭😆

@@the_winged_helm There was silence for the initial few days after the launch, but both showrooms contacted me and relentlessly so I might add. They have been very helpful and eager so far. The WhatsApp messages are your typical brand texts and updates. I booked at launch but deferred my purchase for a bit because of the horrid Mumbai rains.

I understand personal preference but I fail to understand how the classic is the winner out of this lot. I don’t need my motorcycle to “speak to my soul” I want a good looking, reliable, predictable handling motorcycle with ample power to hold triple digits speed and ability to overtake cars, buses or other larger vehicles when needed as you do while touring and also not get bored with the performance 3 or more years down the line. I’d go- Triumph>X440>RE. And re is not even close. Fair enough we still don’t know the long term reliability of the Triumph but I’m fairly confident this will be at least relatively reliable than the RE.

Fully agree, keeping aside the poor build quality(even the Classic in this video looks like it has a bent rim) the RE just feels unsafe for the type of riding/touring I do. The tagline RE is a feeling or it rides like a gun or whatever lines people refer to RE is just getting cringier day by day.

The 'winner' wasn't the Royal Enfield at all. Jehan has said the best bike of them all is the Triumph Speed 400. However, it might not be the best bike for all. So, he's gone out and listed where each bike's core focus is and what you should expect of you get it.

That front rim on the classic 350 has taken a hit ...a prominent bend

This is kinda unfair to the x440, its a first gen product give it some time to breathe in the market. HD x440 look bit unfinished so did other products when they were first introduced. Also the nature of the bike caters to a different kind of riders. if this comparison was between the Meteor 350, H'ness 350 and X440 it would be a fair comparison.

Honda H'ness CB350 should've also been in the list

Seems like all Moto journalists have purposely blocked CB 350 and wants to not give any coverage even though it’s a good bike compared to classic and not sure what’s the reason behind this common behaviour.. and good to know riders are independent on their decision to choose CB 350 and the Zen factor is almost non existent in the new J series engine..

@@zigwheels CB 350, X440, Triumph 400 are the real competitors. I don't think a Classic buyer would look upon triumph as far as riding feel is concerned, if price is the concern then it does make sense to look for Triumph.

So this guys says he will DEFINITELY go for the RE but then also wishes there was a 650cc version... Basically he is saying ...i love it but it's only providing half the satisfaction and I would love if it had double the power

I love the harley, it looks masculine and regal.

My speed 400 is a beauty, every one say don't buy the first few series but can't resist the temptations got myself one and it's the best decision, it's buttery smooth, pulls like a bull with even a pillion rider, timeless design no complaint at all only thing bothering me is finding the neutral and the led could have been a little bit brighter, hopefully in long-term I don't get any issues with the bike and after sales service.Can't wait for the accessories to arrive on the market to make my "Dhanno" extra personalise.

As per Indian govt norms lumen of headlight should be 3000lm that is why we feel headlight not brighter. It's the same for highness too. We need to install fog light to see roads clearly 😅.

@@iampranav100 till now I haven't able to use 6th gear (haven't cross the 1000 km mark till now), my highway use is 35%-40% and city is 60%-65%. So 30kmpl is my average if you ride majorly in city then 27 to 29 would be your average.

I know Royal Enfield has paid channels like Zigwheels and Motorbeam to defame Honda. That's why you guys dont get Honda in this comparison. Same is the case with Powerdrift and once when I asked Motorinc to review Honda H'ness, they simply commented back that they don't like the Honda because of it's sound and gearing 🤣 They simply said in their reviews that Honda is better in all ...but Honda lacks soul.....Royal Enfield is winner😂 Even in this video, I can see you're mentioning soul and talking in favour of Royal Enfield. I'm sure Royal Enfield is paying you people 😅 Especially Zigwheels and Motorbeam which said Honda is loser 😅

This review is totally biased 1. Comparing long stroke bikes with short stroke bikes is irrelevant 2.They used two newly launched hyped bikes of different segments to lift up RE Why there is no CB350 because as they knew it is real competitor to RE and it’s not popular bike due to limited sales they just don’t want to highlight this just because people starts comparing cb350 with classic and rest will be history 😂 As I seen many people don’t even know about cb350 and simply buying Re350s as if those are only bikes available in market at that segment

Mahindra has made the 650 and calls it a BSA.

Harley Showroom saying that this was the pre production model, and the production model will have a better built quality, buttons and even the wires will also be better managed. Any idea how much of that will be true, or we need to wait till they reach showrooms

2:28 did anyone else notice the dent on the rym of classic 350

I just booked teh harley, after the test ride I must say I loved the thick red vivid variant and in person it does look better than in images. Overall the crusing was very easy and handling was smooth where I never felt the weight of the vehicle and the exhaust of harley was on the mark. dissapoted that it would take 5-7 months for the delivery. But I am excited to be part of the HOG community.

@kaushik23march its definitely not like splendor and the bike is large if you park your harley with other bikes in reality you bike will be bigger. Exhaust and size will easily tell the area that its a harley

Test drove a couple of RE the other day. If you want a heavy bike with average acceleration to ride long distances, go for it. They are for sleepy people who don't want real excitement at their finger tips.

Wish it had a bit more grunt, but any ordinary day, the high gear low speed chugging without any need to downshift is actually a good feel. Potholes and plastic speed humps on city roads...? One doesn't need to bother. Happy riding dear... 🙏🏼

No mention about service centers, nothing about service costs, service interval, nothing on headlight performance, which has expensive parts, standard tyres each bike come with, value for money comparison, feature comparison, fuel tank capacity of each bike, pillion comfort, braking performance, etc... Overall this comparison felt like first ride review of eacc bikes

The thing with Royal Enfield is that if someone wants to buy a Royal Enfield they look at which Royal Enfield to buy not what the competition is or what they have to offer. I ride an Indian Scout yet I wana buy a Royal Enfield and see what's it's about. Saw the both bike in person Harley x440 feels and looks proper big bike and mascular feeling Where as Triumph feels exact opposite to Harley small and nimble fit and finish are class above Sorry for being harsh But at a first glance it looks like modified bajaj caliber in design perspective 😅 Maybe next one from Triumph will be having that bigger feeling

ask any RE owner who owned other brand before. they will say same story. frequent parts replacement, visit to garage etc. it is said that to own RE you need to have lot of time for maintenance and learn some basic repairing.
