I have a 78 triumph,,, love the sound of a triumph,,,no motorcycle sounds better,,,,and so much smoother then a v-twin...much less vibrations

You forgot to put the part where you work on the motor for 40 hours and kick the thing 371 times to get it going.

The valve reliefs on the Pistons should be facing front to back not side to side. Otherwise nice video.

So is the timing case, it should also be on the right hand side and the primary drive case should be on the left.

No oil leak ..... that cant be a triumph pre-unit twin

I like the video but would also point out it shouldn't be a flathead but an overhead value. Pistons someone else pointed out.

Well it does say "Not accurate in any technical way, loosely based on a Triumph pre-unit twin", also there are rocker boxes so not a flathead. Nevertheless thanks for your comments.

Triumphs from the Meriden era can benefit from valve guide replacement ,engine will run better

Using K-Lines is better than replacement. They drill out some of the guide and insert a slieve that can be sized perfectly to suit the valve. An unlubricated valve drops slowly down the guide if sized right.
