When we think about adversity in the times we live in, it is unsafe for a believer to keep his eyes on the inconvenience faced on the path of following the Lord, Jesus Christ. Many times the things described as a storm or difficult experience is mild inconvenience as explained in the books of 2 Corinthians 4 verses17 -18 and Hebrews 12 verses1-3.
In this video, Pastor Debola Deji-Kurunmi describes Adversity as a rite of passage in the kingdom; a natural part of civilization. Taking her cue from the book of James 1 verse 2, she reiterates the sophistication on trials faced in the kingdom and admonishes us to count it all joy! She recounts on the administration of the refiner's fire and its regulation by Jesus Christ.
She emphasises the need for believers to understand the prominent warfare we must engage in order to triumph and advance in the face of adversity. More so, she speaks on the need for believers to embrace a certain kind of adversity in order to obtain the badge of honour.
She succinctly describes the glory of God as the release of the kindness, compassion, beauty and the personality of God; who God is when God is God over a people and admonishes to fight the real warfare thereby, gaining stature in the spirit.
She calls our attention to the prominent opposition as Satan and his mind control tactics against a generation. She further highlights the nine significant strategies of Satan in this time and dispensation.
