Had one when it was introduced. Big new deal was the oil frame. Memories and it was shaking and shaking so the chain guard broke several times and had to be welded. Oil was leaking at the valve covers. Top speed was 160kph, so fast enough for the time. Good memories after all.

They stop shaking if you apply the front break but I get it.

We love old motorcycles that don't have electronics, electronics are made by computers and not motorcycles.

Lots of mooks look down their noses at the oil in frames. I feel the styling is some of the best triumph had to offer. Although I want the critics to continue, it keeps the prices low.

A lot of work needed still on that bike. I would definitely fit the front mudguard the right way around. At the moment, the front edge of it is at the back and its a 1972 mudguard. The rear mudguard will soon fracture as the grab rail is missing that supports and stiffens it.

@@gironacaferacersinside the carburetor. Take top two screws out and pull the slide you'll see a needle with 3 or 4 grooves and a clip on it. Depending on where the clip is put it moves needle up and down increasing or decreasing fuel flow.

Not a restoration with so many parts removed and missing but a nice custom to ride around. My own 1971 T120r has all the parts still fitted except i use no air filters and custom exhausts. It is now fitted with 750 cylinders and i have a flyby on youtube at 80 mph. Owned for 25 years so far
