You are a rare example. Some parents are useless! I had some parents drop their child off and ask me to “watch” them for a month until they get things sorted out. That has been 9 years ago when they were 3. Neither parent pays a thing. The parent cares that we are struggling. I had an injury and had two major surgeries and unable to work now. Things are extremely tough however I never let “my child” now that. It’s unbelievable how some parents are just so cruel. I’m close to 60 and raised my own children. Now I have a 12 year old. Thank goodness my older children help when they can. Useless parents out here. So sad for the children. It causes lots of mental issues for the children when a parent is not involved . 😞 Your son and ex is blessed with such a loving father.
