TRIPREPORT | TUI Airways | TOM404 | Bristol (EGGD) - Dalaman (LTBS) | Boeing 737 Max 8
Finally able to get away on holiday not to epkk shitbox after the global pandemic that screwed the world over. This was my first time travelling with TUI and TUI Airways and I’ve got to say, this flight was quite a mixed bag for me. While on one hand the crew was informative, helpful and stayed professional despite the long flight and the 2.5 hour delay, and the Boeing 737 Max is a nice plane to fly on, the filthy state of the cabin, combined with the delay to begin with, and the crying babies that gave Ryanair EI-ENW a run for its money, made the experience a bit of a let-down. While the crew wasn’t at fault and it was mainly due to a late arrival from an inbound flight, combined with the widespread staff shortages at UK airports, it made for quite a disappointing start to my week in the Turkish sun with TUI.

@@kacperkrakowski alright video seen better but love the colours of the sky but it was a big let down for me with the music and with the fast forward I would of loved to hear the jet engines start up from push back and at take off aswell, only good point was the tui staff was amazing keeping you posted all the way and letting u know what’s going on and espically loved that tui Dreamliner parked up but I loved the engine shut down when u arrived at the gate

Brilliant video! TUI have no control over slots/Eurocontrol, and the crew just want to get away as much as you do. It's Eurocontrol in Brussels who add slots on as the skies are too busy. They have to have you onboard, with doors closed, before they can put in a "ready" message to ATC, so that they can tell Eurocontrol you're waiting. Hope you enjoyed your flight! :)
