In my opinion the Embraer seat feels much more like a business class than from the a320

Now that you mentioned that aircraft used to belong to Azul, I have to say that I absolutely love flying domestic with them in Brazil! The fact that most of their fleet are equipped with IFE (and they actually work throughout the flight), plus you'd still get some complementary sweet and savory snacks on board is just superb!

Always great to see TAP in Simply Aviation videos. They used to fly this route with a turboprop plane (ATR) but the boarding without jetbridge was really slow and caused a lot of delays. Now they only fly this route with jet planes like the Embraer E190/195 or Airbus A319/32*

We have around 150 daily flights betweet Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo (among 4 airpots in the two cities)

I love the big Embraer windows and the overall cabin comfort

Thanks for keeping the videos in this format! The flight reviews with people talking are really stressful, so these videos are a relaxing alternative.

It's amazing how many reports you're still able to produce. I like flying these bigger Embraer planes. In my opinion, they are more comfortable than the bigger 737 or A320. Great job.

Love the take off out of Porto. I always see the A330NEO in ORD, hope to make a trip report of it one day.

A330-900neo is amazing!

I flew with TAP from Lisbon to Rome and Lisbon to Marrakech, and also planes has Bussines Class with diferent seats and services!!!

Lisbon Airport is beautiful, also its landings, even if they are a bit scary (over the skyscrapers) they're always spectacular Edit: just noticed that it landed in the opposite runway :)

I remember when I was in Lisbon about how low planes were flying on approach to LIS. A good place to see them is the Eduardo VII park, located at the top of Liberdade avenue. Such incredible sighs!

the last embraer i flew on was LAM mozambique from johannesburg - maputo last summer

I flew this route, but in reverse last Summer. The ERJ is very comfortable for the short flight & I loved the terminal in Porto!✈️

Great trip report as always Felix. I am supposed to be in Porto today after being in Barcelona with friends !! Sadly of course I am still here in Australia !! The Embraer has slowly left Australian skies which is a great shame...I loved my flights on them !! Judging by the flight it is almost like catching a bus !! If wanna save 3h of your life, yes. Plus, depending if you own an car in Portugal or not( I don’t know how it works with rental cars) it’s cheaper to go by plane than car. Highways in Portugal are super expensive and the fuel price is one of the biggest in Europe.

Similar route Lisbon-Faro around 30 min flying but the aircraft varies a lot. Some days they schedule with TAP Express E190/195. Unfortunately the crew doesn't provide beverages or candy...

One day fly to Dublin on KLM Cityhopper then fly to the US on Aer Lingus. The experience when going to the US in Dublin is unique because you do US pre-clearence in the airport, saving time.

They used to have hourly Washington DC-New York-Boston and Chicago-Denver. I believe Southwest still does hourly Los Angeles-Oakland and half-hourly Dallas-Houston.

I love to travel on TAP! however, and because TAP is concentrated in Lisbon, I don't do it very often. Lisbon airport is terrible, there are a lot of people and the delays are very long! Whenever possible I travel from Porto Airport, much cleaner, efficient and punctual!
