And it’s not even that old....

There is no legroom once the person in front of you reclines the seat that’s it you should mine as well ride standing up

I flew the same flight earlier this year. I do agree that the seats need a refresh. I thought this economy service was good value for money, though. The 787 leaves you feeling noticeably more refreshed with the higher humidity levels and higher cabin pressure. Nice plane!

They are going to refresh the cabin I think start this year

In terms of meals, portions are smaller and smaller.... Even the plastic glass looks very small when you compare it with an adult hand.

I’m going to have to agree with that. Budget costs are seriously impact the quality, of not just LOT, but many airlines nowadays.

Great trip report! Hopefully from 2024 LOT will bring back the BUD-JFK route.

People who have never flown, have to touch everything. And try all the buttons. My mother was a flight attendant. And my father was a baseball player. We flew a lot.

for some reason, air Belgium temporarily took over this route with an A330 NEO. I don't know if LOT resumed flying this route again, but i hope their 787's fly on this route again

Hopefully they will resume operations soon, it’s probably because they are refurbishing all their 787-8’s.

Should try their WAW-SIN route one day...

@@philsaviation_official It’s also a great country to visit too, and then you can fly back to EWR via Singapore’s (and I believe still the worlds longest) flight from SIN-EWR or SIN-SFO and then get an onwards flight to EWR-JFK . Lot originally flew B767’s between WAW-SIN from the early to mid 90’s but the discontinued it., But with the introduction of the B787-9 aircraft into their fleet, they have returned to flying to SIngapore.

From oktober 2023 is Air Belgium flying this route for Lot white the Airbus a330 Neo white the belgian crew on board for one year

​@@paulsz6194 most likely due to start of retrofitting process for their 787-8's. But that is just my guess, there were no any official statement about that

how was the customer serive on LOT? Were they strict with the checekd bag weight. How much was yours

LOT’s customer service was great, and there was no real problem with my bag weight, 6.5 kg.

Strict? What was your experience with them? The funny this is, you can load your baggage up to their limits, but buy up alcohol duty-free once your airside, then they can’t refuse you boarding with extras anyway.
