Cyril Klopper I have flow Ethiopian airlines many times and I can say that there food is great, they customer service is better, and flight experience is amazing.

Their flight from Washington D.C sucks. And it feels over crowded. But again they use boeing 777-2 which is an old plane.

Hey, I've had a great experience from Mumbai-Addis Ababa by a 787. Just lovely. Punctual, comfortable, good food, beautiful and friendly hostesses, also very easy connectivity for my next flight to Johannesburg. They also provided a nice hotel for a layover while coming back. I'm a fan of Ethiopian Airlines now

Thanks for posting this! I’m gonna be taking a long haul flight from Asia to Cape Town (with two stopovers in HK and Addis Ababa). It’s nice to see what it’ll look like. I love how atmospheric and immersive your videos are; I grew up taking long flights in economy cabins, so sight of blinking wing lights in the dead of night and the ghostly rumble of turbines taking off from the tarmac is a comfortable one. So are the views; I favour the window seat too.

I love ❤️South Africa and your videos ! ! Good job !!

Can watch your videos for hours and not get bored , great content as always !

I flew Ethiopian airlines in all my flights domestic and abroad. My last journey was from Addis to Jo Burg and back with A350 the latest technology the day and age affords. My flight back to addis spent viwing the sunset in the african skies which was spectacular. Since I get nothing to do and it was dark to see ourside, I opend and enjoyed "Barber shop 3" movie and some very testy ethiopian instrumental melodies. The beutiful and charming hostes was generous enough for me and provided me with two small wine bottles which I enjoyed them all the way to Addis. Very nice air plane, incredibly excellent crew and nice flight. Your video reminded me of that pleasant journey. Thanks met for posting this.

Hi, I know this Tripreport is a bit older, but I will fly with Ethiopian Airlines in February 2019 from Frankfurt to Cape Town via Addis Abeba and I will have a transit time of 1hr 25 min. My question is, is that enough and what do you think about the airport itself? Is it confusing or easy to transit? I already have experience from quite a lot other airports but these were mostly in Europe, Asia, and the US. How much time did you have for transit or how long did it take you? Thank you. :D

Been 7 weeks since I flew and I still want to fly them again. I was in the 787 and 777-300er and they both had the smaller ifes.

When I flew from Newark to Addis, me and my dad got a whole row and the only problem was that my window was in the middle of the wing so I couldn’t really see below :(

As a aviation geek, so many people forget to include the boarding process in their videos! It's like the best part! I'm glad you include it in (or at least try haha). Appreciate you content and greetings from Cincinnati, Ohio. BTW have a trip coming up to Nairobi here next week and almost chose Ethiopian but their late night connections to nbo are tight and would have had to spend 16hrs in add if we missed. So we ended up booking Qatar, but boy do i regret not experiencing the 788. upside is on our return trip from nbo, the doh-jfk we will be in the a359! keep 'em coming!

Nice...Am glad you could get the entire trip on vid. Very cool. Ethiopian airlines are simply the best. I board it a couple of months ago to Lusaka,Zambia by God's special Grace and I really enjoyed the flight. I deffinately will use it again this week to Ghana. On my next trip to Europe I will choose between getting a trip with them or a different airline. God is Good and greatly to be praise.👐 Can I get an Amen if you always want a SAFE trip.

Yes pretty clean.

Ethiopian does many 5th freedom flights i suppose. It is better that way so they can fill up their seats. Apart from that, i love their new cabin with new IFE. It looks so decent and new. Awesome video as always!

Nice Vid... I happend to be on a Mileage Run with ET in March 2016. The Product itself is great. The only thing that bothered me was the change of the flight plan. Instead of a nonstop flight from ADD to DAR they changed the flight number and made a stop in MBA. I was lucky and got myself a exit row seat, since there where no reservation due to the changes. But still... the running around to get a new boardingpass sucked... same on the way back to ADD a few hours later. This time they came onto the plane to issue a new one.

Absolutely, I really like Ethiopian (!!) flew them 4x in C and 2x in Y and made never a bad experience. This is also not possible at all airports in europe or africa, some are very kind and helpful and some aren't.

It is strange that national carrier of country like Ethiopia is so great with such an impressive and modern fleet. E.g. here in Slovakia we do not even have a national carrier and when we had had some airline (SkyEurope, Danube Wings) it eventually bankrupted..:D

You've got in BTS a lot Ryanair flights! But I think the main reason is that there is not enough market for another airline in Europe. ;)

Simply Aviation Yeah, Ryanair is our saviour. :D...And you are right, Bratislava cannot compete with Schwechat in any way other than Ryanair flights. IMO it would be another story if our capital city would be located somewhere else. Don't get me wrong, location of Bratislava is great but with proximity to Vienna is almost impossible for its airport to bring full service airlines there. :)

That's true... :/ I would be sad too if the traffic from Vienna would almost entirely be routed via BTS... I keep my fingers crossed, a Slovak flag carrier would be awesome!
