Love seeing all the positive comments about this A/C. I work at the airbus final assembly line in mobile, al, installing wings on these aircraft for 3 1/2 years! Great to see so much respect for these. Gives us more sense of pride for what we do!

Got an opportunity to book flights on a Delta A220. Hoping they won’t change the plane…This is one of those designs that seems fundamentally right from day one.
A major advantage of the A220 (like the A320neo) are the super-quiet jet engines. With much lower noise levels, the A220 can operate more often out of noise-restricted airports.

Great video review of Delta’s Airbus A220. I’m a flight attendant with Delta and fly this airplane frequently because it’s such a nice experience to work on. Very modern aircraft with lots of premium amenities to enjoy during the flight.
Thanks David for this video. You know unfortunately I am suffering from some negative times right now personally, but these videos are really helpful and you don’t even know it. It can be helpful to encourage relaxation for people like me, and help understand what I really am, especially aviation makes me, me. Take care, Simply Aviation!!

Becoming one of my favorite planes the A220 is awesome
My first flight after the pandemic was onboard a Delta A220-100 from Sacramento to Salt Lake City in September of 2020. Just loved the aircraft and I was in economy no less. Really enjoyed the IFE system as well!

Nice video. I'm a former New Yorker and it is so gratifying to see the "new" LGA. I've arrived there several times since it opened last year and it's just gorgeous compared to the way it previously looked.
I flew on an A220 in July. It is a very nice airplane indeed. When I walked into the lavatory and saw the window, I was like wow! that's a first. Definitely a great feature.
Perfect! 1 Minute watched and I dont know what to see today! :D
11:21 That drink’s called a cranberry grove, a clear sparkling drink (though it’s usually ginger ale club soda can also be used) and cranberry juice. I love making those!
This is how I kept seeing all Delta a220s one landing into JFK and most of them at Lauguardia, love seeing more Delta flights. Good Delta flight Simply Aviation
love this plane since its first launched few years ago initial operator is air baltic, it was still named CS series then though the manufacturer changed it's still elegant as it was
Great video! I went to this airport (LGA) at August 18 2021 and it was so fun there! I remember going on a delta flight 433 and 2080! I also remember being on a A330! I love your videos! Keep it up!!!
nice to see the Lounge is open and serves food!
My daughter and I are flying LGA to MCI over Thanksgiving week on an Airbus A220-110 first class so I really appreciate you sharing all of this information and the videos!
Hi David,Another epic video! Amazing! :)
Great flight on a super aircraft! Thanks so much.
Very Smart David
Delta has sure improved since I last flew them in 1996 (OMG that was 25 years ago!)
I flew on the Delta A220-300 from Dallas to LaGuardia! It was a great experience! Nice video, my friend :)

You've probably made a mistake, not A220-300 but A220-*100* , 300 are used only by a pretty small airline called airBaltic.
Great Video and experiences, Thanks for sharing this with the audience 😀.
Amazing video as always! The old parts of LGA weren’t awful, unless you were flying out of the central terminal on AA!

Ummm, remember seeing a tarp with funnel attached to catch leaking ceiling in Terminal D.
Looking forward to seeing the new terminals at LGA they definitely needed more light and open spaces. As for the lounge it looked quite ordinary
Love the A220! Keep the good work up!
That’s the sound PW1100G pure power
I flew it from Geneva to Frankfurt on an Airbus 220. Economy was tighter than I’ve ever before. Plus it had new slim seats to squeeze in even more people.
Great flight.
Really awesome! Love the A220! Seeing you upload makes my day!
Great product from Canada
Nice flight report.
JetBlue Wi-Fi for the win
Nice video, it was informative.👍
As a New Yorker myself I saw it all from old Lga to new my last recent flight was pre covid days with Air Canada from LGA to YYZ a319 was nice experience
Excellent. 👍😊🇨🇮🛫✈️

I'm genuinely curious what kind of bag you use to carry on every trip. I'm amazed it's survived so long and would love to possibly even buy one like it.

Thanks for this excellent video. I really love flying with Delta ❤️ I think the overall flying experience with delta has been very smooth. The service on long haul flights out of Atlanta ,DTW, MSP and JFK is even better. I wish Delta connection can someday get A220 and put them on YYZ route and replace CRJ 200 and 700. The upgrade of CRJ 900 next Gen is also very suitable now with changes to overhead bins and main cabin galley. Thank you once again and keep climbing ✈️
Been to LaGuardia before. Not as fancy as the more famous JFK Airport, but it’s where the Miracle On The Hudson plane departed from
15:04 this man a real new yorker now he got the Timbs

Aww I love it, I will be a pilot one day!!
Love it
Nice video and flight. I am glad they are fixing LaGuardia up it was such a dump..
Awesome trip report. I loved flying the A220 in First for Delta, so comfortable.
NICE VIDEO
PW knocked it out of tge park with those engines. GTF has a bright future!
I’ve yet to fly an A220, but I’ve fallen in love with E-Jets. It’s a shame they’re relegated to regional airlines (while on mainline routes). Both planes show that smaller can be better.
Ich genieße auch Cranberrysaft und Club-Soda! Prosit.

Excellent use of the word "bothersome" David 😊.
Amazingly quiet
...looking to fly on one next summer (on Delta) non stop between SEA and MKE (Comfort class) . I keep hearing lots of good things about the 220 and even though slightly smaller than a 737 it is more comfortable and quieter. Love those big windows as well. I live in Portland but it's only a 3 hour train trip to south Seattle (there is a station by SeaTac with a shuttle) and even with the rail fare (I get a senior rate) it's cheaper than flying straight out of Portland and having to connect somewhere (one trip had me going all the way to Atlanta then up to Milwaukee) given how fares today are based on market popularity rather than miles flown. it's actually about 30 - 35$ cheaper to fly out of Seattle to LA than from Portland even though we are about 150 miles closer. I still miss Northwest. Often got a straight through flight with just as stop in MSP and no change of plane (and usually a 757).
I really like the window in the toilet :D
THAT IS MY DREAM PLANE TO FLY ONNNNNNN
I Love Your Channel

Great video as always! Airbus makes such great planes even though technically this ain't one! Anyone knows the music playing in the intro and outro?
This is the plane Boeing was mad about (with Canada) selling it for cheap.... So Airbus decided to buy the model out. Smart!
First
Very nice to see A220-100. We currently building A220-300 Series. Soon possible new project 500 series.🙂
Delta is my favorite legacy US airline to fly on
How many times a year are you able to fly? Overall good stuff!
thats where the Hudson Flight started
Not a Bad landing!
It's the second tip report I'm watching about the A220-100 and its "First Class". For me it's more a "Business Class" seating and not too much of a "First". Maybe it's because I'm used to Transcontinental First Class and not Domestic flights. I just had a look at domestic flights on Swiss (Europe) and there's no "First Class" but "Business Class" for 3 times the price of a "Economy" (coach) seat. Anyways, great video, thanks for your time and sharing your experience with us!
@davidhoffman1278

It looks to have slightly narrower seating than the first class on a B737 or A320. You get 2 individual armrests per seat, so I like that.
Fantastic. Take off very smooth. And most importantly the noisy level is low. I personally prefer Airbus than Boeing.

Intreething fact: all the small family of airbus(a320neo and the 220s) are powered by the American engines P&W and the international engines were Genral electric and is include there( The international one is also the most common on the 380 do that is very quiet)
@sergiolaurencio7534

Also another interesting fact: the RR of the 787 use to be more quiet than the GE, but we're the less sell on do to its problem and advante that the GE Genx have)

Nice video
Wait! The lounge has returned to open trays of food? I thought everything was still individually wrapped items. When did that change happen?
David, I was so glad to see that you went and got a proper breakfast at the lounge before you stepped onto that airplane because I knew you were not going to get anything that was edible on the plane. All the US airlines, especially Delta, is known for their boxed food which is like dog food, during Covid. Thanks for this great trip report!❤️👍✈️
I love the Delta A220. I'm wishing for the A220 to fly nonstop between Omaha-New York LGA
Your big fan from srilanka 🇱🇰❤
nice review. Delta is my one of the favorite airline
I wish I could fly again
In my experience of the Delta A-220 from DFW to Detroit, it wasn’t all that quiet of a plane 😅 From about pushback from the gate all through taxiing and up until take off, there was an incessant and quite distracting grinding noise filling the cabin. I spoke with the pilot upon landing (who very graciously showed me the cockpit which was super cool!) and he said that was due to the electric brakes or something like that… Anyone else have a similar experience?
Such a beautifully QUIET aircraft. Why can't they make ALL plane engines this quiet.
The headrests do adjust vertically. :)
the delta sky club lounge now did you have access due to be club member or a first class ticket
In my opinion, of all the USA airlines, Delta is the best so far. Its service it's incredible and the airplanes are modern.

@@thatdudekyan ya I haven’t tried JetBlue yet. My mom has and she told me that was a good airline, the only bad thing is that on a 6 hour flight they only gave her a cup of coffee and chips, and I think it’s not enough. I traveled with Delta and on a 4 hour flight they gave us 2 services: first a sandwich and second some snacks.
