I have just realised that this aircraft is an ex-Garuda Indonesia aircraft, so I have yet to fly the full Batik Air experience 👍🏻

Why does the in-flight entertainment not work? we are flying in march and ive heard its hit and miss with inflight entertainment how are we to know if our flight has it or not?
If batik air is trying rid itself of boeing max jets it might as well buy some 321 neos since i would argue in terms of comfort the 321 is better

Batik Air will be flying from Canberra to Bali from June 2024.
hi rasin, im an indonesian. Great videos,but just for info the plane is ex Garuda Indoensia thats why the interior still require the Garuda Indonesia Seats and IFE. Also The Batik Air Indonesia cabin is not as nice as this ex garuda plane they didnt have good seat pitch and no headrest. thats it

Oh wow, that's interesting. That means I still have yet to experience the full Batik Air experience 😅
Batik might be a "Premium" Airline however it is not "Full service". Any airline you pay for meal is not for service. Nor is a snack on a 7 hour flight Full service.

Even that the aircraft was formally operated by the flag carrier Garuda at least batiik air shoud have the curtesy to offer a working IFE and this can easy be adjusted to the companies requirement to saferguard his public image. The casual approach of this carrier shows only their reluctances to offer a full service the passengers have paid for.what a blunder

It could be worse. I once flew Batik Air from CGK to SIN on their 737-800. And this should be a key point, as the plane I flew on was originally delivered to Batik Air before being transferred to Malindo Air (now Batik Air Malaysia). When I learned that, I was hoping that at least it had the IFE system, unlike some of its A320s. Except when I got onboard, the screens were deactivated, despite being originally delivered to Batik Air. Very, very mediocre to be honest. Garuda's "latest" 737s (except the ex-China Airlines airframes) had their screens deactivated for 3-4 months, but they were reactivated during the new years.
