I finally found a puzzle in my collection that allowed me to participate in this challenge. 😊 It's only 300 pieces, Charles Wysocki's "Know It All" from Buffalo Games.
Those non-edge edges are probably to make the whole thing more structurally sound. It's fun to watch your challenges this morning while I'm working.

Interesting that they gave you four bags for a 1000 piece puzzle. I would assume that they were pieces that go together and not random pieces? That’s pretty cool that it’s so bendable yet also holds together so well.

I think the four bags are if you don't want to complete the whole puzzle all at once, so it was probably separated into quadrants.
Such a pretty puzzle.
