ohh boy...what a fantastic hunt you had there mind, your first Hammered is more than likely a MARY GROAT.. they are really thin and over time they wear even thinner, iv'e had 2... and niether were in a good state... you must be the first person ive seen who was chuffed to bits to get a cartwheel penny///( it's the 2 penny cartwheel i want lol) and a very nice lizzy threepence or sixpence..all in all a fantastic hunt my m8...all the best GL&HH Gordon.

Great finds. The cartwheels were only dated for the one year but distributed for two but they never knew why. Some say it was down to the monarch being a skin flint. 🤷

All the money this country burned through man dodger since them days must be crazy.. and they skint flinting on dates.. sounds like the politicians of today... can't wait to see these lot out they've crippled great Britain over last 10 plus years.. we working longer and harder for same pay mate but everything gone up.. somethings over 50% increase!! Ill have to sell me bottles and coins she says if stuff keeps going up!! Told her I'd rather get a flat and leave her🤣🤣🤣
