So I'm sitting on the back porch, watching this video, and couldn't believe how easy they looked to make. I run to my studio and get out all my 12x12 papers, score board, glue, corner rounder etc... Low and behold!! I made 6 of them in under an hour!!! WHAAAAAAAT???? I'm giving them out as gift card holders with Christmas cards in them this year!! Super easy, super fun!! Thank you, Liz!!! 💖💖💖

This is the first time I’ve watched a video all the way through and then gathered the materials and tools, and played it again to follow along. Love this idea!

I want to try this with those large center prints from 12x12 paper pads, that you wouldn't normally be able to use, and then embellish over any upside down areas. I'm with you... So many possibilities for happy mail

That is really cool and I cannot wait to make some today! Just a hint I will share in case some folks might find it useful… When I’m gluing I will often use my bone folder to help it to adhere once I know everything is properly in place. I will also sometimes make my score line and then fold against the scoreboard so that I have that edge as a guide to make sure I’m folding straight. I’m a blind person and so I use interesting little hacks that help me make my projects work. Thank you so much for the terrific tutorials! I like all of your projects and I especially enjoy the Velcro closure and I think that is what I will try first. Ronda

Love it. I can't wait to make one of these for my granddaughter who is away at college. I will put a gift card in one pocket and some cash in the other. I can put some cute and funny tags in the side pocket. So much fun. fts!!

Loved this project! You made it so easy to follow along that I went ahead and purchased a score board to make these. I already had 12x12 sitting around and didn't know what to do with them. I always love floral floral floral because you can do floral in different color variations any time of the year⚘❣🥰

Hard to decide which one I like best! I love purple, and the sari silk closure, but not a fan of the color palette embellishment on that one. The shabby chic one is absolutely beautiful as well, but I'm not a fan of Velcro closures. Love the look of the belly band and everything on the fall theme one, but not sure about sliding off the band for a closure every time. Lovely inspiration in all of them! Thank you for sharing!

I like them all and cannot pick a favorite. I love the purple/yellow combo since they're opposite on the color wheel, they are visually appealing. My grandkids are adopting our elderly neighbors on Grandparent's Day this Sunday, so this will be perfect to hold their adoption papers, a photo of their new grandkids, and some artwork from them, as well. Now, to pick out the paper to use...that will be the hardest part of this whole thing!! Thanks, Liz!! Also, thanks for giving credit to the crafter for your inspiration; I've noticed a lot of people conveniently forget which channel or who they got the idea from and I sometimes think it's because they don't want to potentially lose the viewing traffic if their viewers like the other channel better!

i would love a mix between the flower and fall one the most. ik think the colors mach very well together. and i want to make a midnight sky one, i just bought papers for it today

You know, if you don't glue down the piece that becomes the underside of flap for the bottom pocket, you can turn it into a pocket, too. It's the piece that you cut at 8:00. For that matter, you could do the same with the upper flap, too, with a line of glue to separate it from the back pocket, but it may be tricky to keep things from falling out of that one. Clever use of a 12x12 sheet, thank you. ~ Lisa

Hi how are you? Thank you for giving measurements. This is a suggestion to help keep score lines from skipping I saw from other channels. However I can't recall the names..either use crumbled wax paper on the lines or line before scoring. Or use your finger, it's from natural oils in your skin. Not oily or greasy hands/ fingers. Cheers

Hi Liz I am loving these but having a little trouble with the paper not staying flat, after I glue and fold ??? I hope you understand what I'm trying to say and maybe let me know where I'm going wrong. I probably just need some practice

Make sure to score the lines really well, I find that helps. Also, depending on the thickness of your paper it may shift more and make it harder. So yes keep playing with it until you get it however works best for your paper. 😊
