+ELLIE You do not necessarily need the magnetic platform. It just keeps things from shifting around. If you're careful, you can make this card without it. :)

I am sad the heart collection set is discontinued. I found it on eBay but was wondering what cost originally through Stampin Up? How big is the Scallop heart base? Might have to hand cut it

Hi Meaghan, The Hearts Collection Framelits were $26.95 when they were in the catalog in 2015. The largest heart measured 5-1/4" across. I hope this helps.

I used a Big Shot die cutting machine to cut out the hearts. :)

The die-cutting machine is a Big Shot. If you're in the US, you can find it here: www.stampinup.com/ecweb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=143263&dbwsdemoid=118062. The harder thing to get would be the heart framelits, because the are now retired. If you make them with different hearts, you would need to adjust the measurements.

pls make a Valentine card easy and without tools bcoz they r not available in our country india

Meaghan, maybe try raising the heart that it tucks into with a dimensional (foam dot) or two. You might need to pry up the layer of card stock a little. I'm thinking that maybe it doesn't have enough of an edge to tuck into. Did you use the same hearts as me?

@@QbeesQuest I could not get a stampin up set of hearts on EBay. People are asking 26.95$ for used sets. But I made nesting heart plastic templates and cut with scissors for my first try. Then I bought some nesting hearts by Honey Bee and tried again but this brand is a lot taller and all 3 hearts fell down

@@meaghanlarsen1618 I'm sorry you couldn't get the same hearts. The tutorial was designed specifically for this set of hearts and the measurements would be different for hearts of different sizes. 😔 I remember when I designed this tutorial it was a lot of trial and error to get the measurement right.
