Used to hate Triple H because of his character. Then you grow up and realize that Paul Levesque the person did an amazing job, creating the character that is Triple H. He made you believe Triple H was the actual person. That’s not just a great character, but a great job of acting. One of the greatests; Triple H.

No that was the real him, you're just too young to understand what a crawling, pos he was before he became the game. Now he's turned nice because he has won his power and screwed everyone he needed to years ago. Chyna in her grave. His HHH character only became a thing after he seized power and he wouldn't have done all that without his backstage power, he wouldn't have done a quarter of it.

Yup 33. My first WWE match that I ever watched was Triple H Vs Shawn Michaels Street Fight at SummerSlam 2002. I hated Triple H when I watched that match. By the time the Ruthless Aggression Era came to a close i started to realise exactly how important to Abu storyline the heel is. I also realised that by making me hate him, Triple H had done his job phenomenonally well. My Top 3 best ever alongside Shawn and Chris Jericho. The Game and Y2J, better workers you won't find in any industry.
As an old WWE fan from the late 90s to early 2000s, I definitely got goosebumps hearing him talk about his fight with Rock and Kurt Angle and how he had to improv! Had to go back and find that match

Triple H was a true general in the ring. When Angle was concussed, the referee for the match had Vince yelling at him in his ear piece to relay instructions to HHH. The Game told the referee to back off and to tell Vince that it was his match and he would improv from that point on. Sure enough, HHH and The Rock guided the match through to the conclusion and put on a good match all things concerned.

I love that initial comment from Logan where he says that it all becomes so much more captivating once you feel connected with one of the guys/girls. One of the best stories was Kim orton (randy ortons wife). She watched wrestling as a kid but stopped eventually and when she had kids, her boys would watch wwe. She saw randy, thought he was hot and told her kids to tell her when he was on, starting her up in watching the show again. Fast forward to when they went to a wwe event, Kim and randy met and fell in love. All it takes is that one connection and you get completely invested in the show and the lifestyle they have.

Tough enough didnt really represent what real developmental wrestling gyms were like honestly. Everything was played up for drama and tv shit, places where John Cena started out as the Prototype was more accurate. Triple H loves the business and really knows what people need to see in wrestling and not what they want, he wants regular people to enjoy it not only the hardcore, indy fans. Something people can believe in and get emotionally invested again.

I’m glad he brought up Scott Hall and did a pretty spot on impression!!! I was bummed when he passed this year, and Trips is correct, most underrated of all time!!! RIP Razor!!!
Great timing on this one. Getting the first man to run WWE creative since Vince in 50 years. Bravo

I've been a wrestling fan for over 35 years. I never really liked the idea of "outsiders" intruding the industry....but Logan is different. He was built for this and it's obvious he respects the art and it shows. In my opinion, Logan is welcome into this crazy world of pro wrestling. Well done.

That's exactly it, you can tell he is humbled and feels a sense of responsibility to do his childhood heroes right. Sure it's "scripted" but just like HHH said "they remember how you make them feel." And I think Logan truly does care about that. Wish him the best!

Fantastic podcast: coming into this as an old-school 80s-2000s WWE fan and now someone that "keeps up with it" but doesn't watch much.... I also do have limited knowledge of the Paul Brothers, and obviously some of the previous bad press for both. Very impressed with both sides here - can feel the passion coming from everyone involved and I think it's contagious. HHH has always been one of my favourite wrestlers ever since I saw his interview with Conan O'Brien in the late 90s - always just seemed like a guy who you could just sit down with and shoot the shit. Very evidence here. I wish nothing but the best for both parties moving forward here! :)
I have only recently gotten into wrestling and couldn't pin point until now what I was loving about it. Now I know it is like Triple H said it is the story telling and the passion. I love to hear how Logan and Triple H have mutual respect for each other. I also can't wait to see how Logan 's character is going to develop in the WWE.
After hearing this podcast was going to be posted today with Triple H after the commentators announce it on RAW last night I definitely had to be here as soon as I got that notification. Let’s go!!! I know this podcast is about to be good.🔥💯

I’ve been a wrestling fan since 1994 when I first saw The Undertaker when I was 5 on TV 😅 WWE is a monster right now. I hope people aren’t afraid to say they’re fans of it. Hell, AEW, NJPW, WWE, whatever. It’s a GREAT time to be a wrestling fan again. And with Triple H taking over like we all wanted is dream come true. If you guys are on the edge of watching, just go watch Summerslam. He ran that event and it was great.

Wrestling is great. But let’s be honest bro, it’s not the best time to be a wrestling fan. It’s embarrassing and corny overall. Now that HHH is taking over there is hope, but as a right now, there is a lot of work to do to make it watchable again. I think that Logan Paul will be a huge factor to make wrestling popular again if everything is done right
