Beautiful game. Identified the final opponent early and countered him with this solid strategy.

I still dont understand why Blizzard keep the extremely slow animation speeds. Rounds like this are just slow for no reason whatsoever, the Nightbane could just distribute the stats instantly to all targets with one animation.

Because they are lazy and incompetent. Just look at the ghoulacabra on release. I would be very surprised if they test their cards for more than like 30 minutes (or play their own game in general).

The animation times also sell the scope of what is happening. Stuff slowing to a crawl because you rolled crazy on the minions and are buffing the stats to the friggin moon feels very satisfying IMHO. Good game feel, don’t discount it!

This is exactly the kind of build I would ALWAYS have to fight 3 Mech and 2 Divine Shield Quillboar builds with without a single shield on my board

I mean you probably don't play this if you know enemies are playing something that can counter it... ~Also I would say Vol'jin played kinda badly at the end, he definitely tried but Trickster was too late and also even still would probably not give enough health.
