Muito obrigado!

Foi uma pena nao tee gravado o proximo comboio a seguir ao intercidades eu tava la! E no primeiro comboio regional para Faro que fez a paragem oara intercidades que ia para Lisboa. Por acaso nao o vi e o ironico é que seguido o canal ja algum tempo. O comboio especial diz respeito á festa do basquetebol nacional que se realiza todos os anos. Antes a CP fazia a viagem com um intercidades mais composto nao sei o que aconteceu. Eu quando vi aquele comboio em faro ate pensava que seria a primeira entrega dos comboios que virão para a linha do algarve depois de ser eletrificada. Mas depois vi que não. Abraço

2 questions: 1. Where is the depot for the actually diesel trains? 2. Where will be the depot for the new trains? (EMU class 2240)

There's not really a depot, trains are stored at stations (Lagos, Faro and VRSA). VRSA has a workshop where trains can be stored if needed. 2240 will be stored at the same places. Faro has some non platform tracks that can be used too.

Are this special trains at football matches, too? For example Benfica against Farense?

No, it's more a basketball thing from what I understand. It happens every year around the same time.

Are not doubled trains? Coupled trains?

Will be this trains (2240) the trains of the future in the Algarve? What happens with the diesel trains?

Diesel trains will probably be sent to Alentejo or the remaining diesel lines.

Uma pergunta: moro em Faro e já vi o comboio amarelo na estação. O que exatamente significa Formação de maquinistas? O comboio tem horário e os passageiros podem viajar?

Basicamente os maquinista do Algarve estão a aprender a conduzir esses comboios.

Why the formation from the macinists? Train drivers? The train drivers haven't a formation?

The train drivers need to learn and get used to drive each train, because trains are not all the same. They have different braking distances, etc. Also electric and diesel trains are different.

Why circulate the special train? Which reason?

There was a sport/basketball event at Albufeira and this special train came from Oporto with participants.

Ok. How I'm understand, Porto has been playd against Albufeira and the train transport the guests. I think, the basketball team from Porto will be go with their team bus. And the match tickets was at the same time the train tickets?

Penso que seja porque são led e fica assim na câmara. Quando gravei não reparei em nada de diferente, só depois quando fui ver a gravação no computador.
