Sikh brothers suffered so did we. 3 members of my grandparent's family were martyred during partition. Both sides of Punjab suffered a lot. We love our heritage despite all the hardships we faced.

I loved the detailed informative trip, especially when you were telling your little girl about Guru Nanak's farming place and how interestingly she wanted to learn about it. So nice to hear that you loved Pakistani hospitality in Nankana Sahib and other places but I suggest you visit Pakistan to see how much Pakistanis love the Sikh community. I live in the UK and have Sikh friends and neighbours. What I love about them is that they practice what they preach and I have seen unbelievable devotion in them. Wherever they see any crisis they are the first ones to approach people and start helping them not just men but women and young adults too and this makes me appreciate them even more. Sikhs are true to their name coz they are learning to contribute in more ways than one and also teaching not just their own community but all the others around them what truly Sikhism is about.
