Dimash (29) has 1 younger sister Raushan (22), and 1 younger brother Mansur (who just turned 17 last month). Super talented family. Their parents both sing. They are honored artists of Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 Their father has a smooth voice, their mother is an opera soprano, so there o wonder where they all got their talents from. Raushan also has a nice voice, but she is shy, so not like Dimash who possesses that unteachable charisma on stage. Mansur, who composed “Together” when he was 15, and Dimash debuted that song in his Almaty concert in 2022. In the MV, all 3 siblings were seen celebrating Mansur’s 16’s birthday. ❤

This is the first song Dimash wrote the lyrics himself. I hope we get more. He has a beautiful heart.

Samaltau has been my absolute favorite since the first time I heard it. It’s an amazing song that he rarely performs. He said in an interview once that it is one of the most emotionally difficult for him to sing.

Yes, definitely do the Guide to Dimash ! It is divided into 8 or 9 minute episodes so if you really wanted to you could fit the entire series in before you go to Budapest! So, OMIR, Dimash's prayer to life, dropped last May on his 29th birthday, and the live version is brand new. Dimash has one brother (Mansur, 17) and one sister (Raushan, 21 I think). Mansur goes to music school and Raushan is studying to be a doctor, although she has sung beautifully with Dimash (but finds the stage not her cup of tea!) You can see both of them in the music video for TOGETHER, the song Mansur composed when he was 15, and he and Dimash premiered at the Almaty concert.

Hello guys!!! You NEED to check out Adai/Daididau before you see him live. He started writing the music in his teens & performs it at EVERY show & event. Lyrics are based on a poem by a Kazakh poet & based on a true story (too much to tell hear) It’s a true Zazakh folk song & shows how much Dimash loves (& shares with us) the history & love for his culture & country. The Bastau or Almaty versions are both incredible. Also, check out Be With Me music video. These are two Dimash extremes in the BEST way. You will love him more with EVERY performance you see - guaranteed! So excited for you guys!!! 😮😊🥰

Indeed it s mandatory to know the importance of Daididau when you go to his concert. It s the song that goes way back to his very beginning even before SOS just like unforgettable day. These two are the grandmother and grandfather of Dimash songs.

Just so you know ahead of time, the songs Dimash has the Dears sing with him at almost every solo concert are: Daididau (the Singer 2017 or the Bastau 2027 or the Dimash Digital Show 2021 are beautiful) Love of Tired Swans (the Kremlin Moscow guest appearance was gorgeous or the Dimash Digital Show 2021 only on Facebook or Instagram) Unforgettable Day (Dimash Digital Show 2021 version is stunning) All By Myself (Bastau 2017 version is beautiful and the New York 2019 version is darling) he may or may not include this in the concert as he has been skipping it lately (too many newer songs) Screaming (the Idol Hits version from his guest appearance at that tv show in China or the version from his Digital Show Jan 2021 are great) Give Me Love (either the Bastau or Digital Show version but I really love the Digital Show version) Eternal Memories from movie Battle of Memories (if there are sufficient Chinese Dears present) I think this is most of the "sing along" songs but there might be some I can't bring to mind right now. Ok, that's all I can remember but the Chinese concerts have many more Mandarin songs which I do not think will appear at the Budapest concert other than Eternal Memories but you never know.

Dimash has ONE brother and one sister😇😇🥰🥰‼‼‼

His brother’s name is Albilmansur. They call him Mansur, he is 17. Mansur plays piano, guitar, drums, Dombra, and has started to compose. He’s still in school. The song “Together” he wrote for Dimash. His sister Raushan is 22 years old. She sings, too. She wants to be a doctor. Dimash has only 2 siblings. He calls his friends brothers and sisters. There are several aunts, uncles, and friends of the family. When they gather for dinner, after dinner they start singing. He comes from a musical family. I really think that Kazakhstan is full of musical people. 😁❤️

Love your Dimash reactions and am so excited you are going to Budapest. I feel compelled to tell you the story of Daididau. All of his versions are wonderful, of course, but his version at Bastau is close to everyone's hearts and has a spectacular intro. It was his first ever solo concert..in front of 35,000 people. You will see a very young, thin Dimash ( he had been working himself very hard) who becomes emotional at the end. Like many of his songs Daididau, pronounced Deye dee dow, has a true, tragic backstory. There was a young couple whose parents would not allow to marry and they were married off to others. When both spouses died early they finally married. He was a poet and dissident who was imprisoned and tourtured and was eventually executed in the 1930s. To torture him they told him his wife was leaving him. He wrote a letter to her asking whether it was true....the lyrics of the song Daididau. Daididau was his nickname for hiswife. After his death she spent the rest of her life preserving his memory. It is one of Dimash's favorite songs.

It would be great to see you watch the Ultimate Dimash Guide as a live event.

Unfortunately I haven’t had the chance to watch the entire video yet, but just the bit that I saw has already brightened my day. Thank you as always for doing what you do, Richard and Johnny. And I’m shocked! I did not know Johnny is even taller than Dimash, though just by about an inch or so. I read the comments of other Dears and I have some things to add. This will be about some of Dimash’s songs and taking videos during the concert. Apologies in advance, this is going to be a *very* long comment. Someone mentioned that Dimash loves singing with Dears, especially songs such as Unforgettable Day, Daididau, and Love of Tired Swans. If possible, it would be great if you could learn the lyrics to these songs. Unforgettable Day and Daididau are in Kazakh, while Love of Tired Swans is in Russian. And before you get nervous, don’t worry- Dears only need to sing the chorus. Daididau is the easiest, because you only need to learn the refrain: “Ah, Daididau.” (pronounced Dye-dee-dow) but Unforgettable Day is more tricky. Dimash USA Fan Club has provided a helpful transliteration of the chorus that shows you how to pronounce the words: ong-sop, koot-kyen-ar-mon-em-syen a-law, la-hon-tong-dar-em-syen a-la, kon-dye, ya-lie-tahn ong-sar-em, da-ar-da, hum-syen (Note: The letter “R” should be rolled in both Kazakh and Russian. The “H” sound is not the same sound we have in English. Other Dears are going to have to help you with that one because I cannot do it myself) The last one is Love of Tired Swans, which is just a tiny bit harder. I don’t think an official pronunciation guide has been provided anywhere unfortunately. Other Dears can correct me, but I believe that when he sang Sareri Hovin Mernem in Armenia, someone took a fancam, and Dimash later posted that fancam on his Instagram account. Once while on stage, Dimash took his friend's phone and captured a short video of himself and Dears. Il l'a chantée à 14 ou 15 ans, c'est une reprise de Vitas donc nous n'avons plus accès à l'enregistrement original à cause des droits d'auteurs.
