Ryanair Trip Report, Low-cost airline onboard of their Boeing 737-800 flying from Rome, Italy to Thessaloniki, Greece over Apennine peninsula, Adriatic Sea and Balcan peninsula.
An amazing flight from Rome to Thessaloniki on Boeing 737
It was the last day in Rome, one part of my summer Europe trip. I arrived on taxi to the Champino airport , which is pretty small, passed all the check-in and security procedures pretty fast and then went to my boarding gate A1. We needed to wait some time until the boarding starts. I saw some business jet take-offs through the windows.
After passing the boarding desk, there is an exit. Outside we needed to walk through the blue passageway. Due the plastic roof and walls being under the sun, it was hot inside. Near the airplane I managed to film preparation for pushback process and took lots of photos of our plane. When we were onboard, captain announced that we were delayed for 25 minutes. Then we pushed back succesfully and went to the runway. Just after beautiful take off we made some turnes and headed for Greece.
Ryanair is lowcost airline, so there were not any food. But lady sitting near me shared some crackers with me, thanks to her. The only interesting thing during the flight was a great turbulence, I like it. It was pretty hard, so I enjoyed. Then we continued our descent and after a beaufitul approach over the mountains and Thermaikos bay we landed at Macedonia airport. While taxiing to the stand, we met military Boeing C-17 Globemaster standing near. Finally we arrived to the lovely and warm city of Thessaloniki.
