TRIP REPORT | Iberia: The First A350 to Gran Canaria! | Premium Economy

► MY BOOKING TIPPS FOR YOU:
(Note: This tipps are only for IBERIA flights to the Canaries.)
If you want to fly a widebody aircraft to the Canaries, as I said in the video, you need to look for these before booking your flights. Iberia uses its A330-200, A330-300 and A350-900 for some flights to the Canaries. Unfortunately, the A340-600 are no longer used because Iberia has retired them.
Iberia currently has two routes from Madrid to the Canaries where they use widebodies.
The routes are MAD-LPA (IB 3182) / LPA-MAD (IB 3183) and MAD-TFS (IB 592) / TFS-MAD (IB 593).
Take note of these four flight numbers. Two highly recommended booking sites are Google Flights (flights.google.com/) and the "Matrix" (matrix.itasoftware.com/). If you book on these pages you can see the flight number and aircraft type before booking. Of course, you can also book on Iberias official website (www.iberia.com/).
When you have booked a widebody flight operated by Iberia that is a short-haul flight (important!), you have the option of reserving a seat in Premium Economy, even if your flight is an Economy reservation. The Premium Economy seat costs about 5 to 10 euros more than an Economy seat, but it's worth the price. You have more space, more features and a beautiful engine view from your seat.

I fly every year with Scandinavian Airlines to visit my native country of Sweden. I live in the US. We fly from Newark, New Jersey to Copenhagen and then take the train across the bridge into Sweden. For the most part, SAS has flown the A330-343 or the A340. I am excited to say that they are switching to the Airbus A350-900 series. I can’t wait to fly on it!! I just hope the new COVID19 vaccine will be available to the public soon.Great video!!

What an incredible sector to have flown… Premium looked comfortable as for the A350, it’s a spectacular aircraft. Any longhaul Premium IB plans coming up or even Business? 👌

Indeed! Yes, there will be 4 longhaul reports with Iberia in future but in Economy and one medium haul in Business :)

Yes, I wanted to film it, but there was a person sitting next to me who didn't necessarily want to be in the video that close, so I didn't film the seat to respect the person's privacy :)

It was my third flight report and due to the medium-haul status of the flight we would only have got served small dishes like a bottle of water anyway. Videos with food & more will come in future :)
pity, no business, but how primitive with such a few planes to use buses???? why????

I don't know why they did that, but the bus boarding gave me the chance to board this big plane from the ground :D
Deboarding is NOT a word. You board or disembark an aircraft.
