Your often in Vienna. Vienna is one of my favorite cities in the world I never visited. That's because of the beauty of the historical architecture. Maybe someday some bonus footage like you do once in a very long while of Vienna? The Japan terminal looks good. I was in awe about the vastness of the chinese cities. Lots of great views from above. Today I noticed that I really like that there's original sound during the flight, and no background music. Because the white noise of the plane is soothing.

Great flight! Have never been to Japan but would love to. Thanks for showing all the planes at the beginning. Have seen several I have never heard of before. 😮Learned that Japan has Alps😊 who knew?? 👍🏻🙋🏼‍♀️🇺🇸✈️

Excellent video: it shows us the airport, the type of plane, the crew service... and the most important thing is that it indicates each place, city, river, mountain that we are flying over. Your video makes me feel like I'm on the plane. Congratulations!

What surprised me is how many times you were offered drinks and small snacks. Definitely not like what I've seen in previous videos about the Lufthansa group. I think Lufthansa itself is cutting costs and Austrian and Swiss are the ones benefiting from it.

This Boeing 777-300 is 25 years old that's amazing it's a nice airplane airliner. The B777 consists of all airlines nice plane. ❤❤😊😊

I'm watching this wonderful flight unfold, even though it's way past, or before, many other bedtimes. The second meal was very disappointing, made even more so by the absence of a single square of butter. Thank you for the fantastic views!

Nice Boeing 777 from Austrian Airlines

I appreciate your helpful information on the places the airplane traverses, as well as your commentary on the all-important technical details on aviation and airport design. I can tell you are clearly one for looking out the window rather than being oblivious to the wonders of international flight! Too often other airplane flight KZread channels don't seem interested in such things.

I never sleep on flights if I can help it! In the eighties I used to fly frequently betwee Hong Kong and San Francisco, leave HKG at 1:00 pm, arrive in SFO at 9:00 am the same day! Try that for size! Terrific video as usual.

i like your channel because you give more proportion to the window view along your trip, also the name of the city or landmark. also your video always start from entering the airport, which is just the right starter. thats what differentiate your channel. great job

What a great show. So much details. Your knowledge of Geography is quite incredible. Where you an explorer in your before life ☺. 25 year old aircraft showing its age. No in-seat amenities. The food looked very un-appetizing, probably the worst I have seen on a long haul flight. Probably better off flying a Japanese carrier or Middle East carrier (with 1-stopover) for the same price (or cheaper) with better seats and definitely better food. As again top class work👍

I was through Tokyo-Narita many years ago while on layover on the way to Singapore Changi!

It was a really amazing trip. Tokyo is amazing :)

The reason you did the 360 was you had to be at waypoint LOPIA at or above 12'000ft . Its 7.2 nm northeast of the airport . So you took off flew southeast 14nm then turned back to airport for 14nm then 7.2nm Northeast to the fix LOPIA at or above 12,00ft . Hope that makes sense . Its done this way as the terrain is 10,800 ft a bit further up the road.

Thats amazing 258 seats in economy & 40 seats & 32 seats remarkable. Nice trip report 14 hours thats long indeed.

Well, that sure looks super uncomfortable for 14 hours! Some nice overflight shots.

first to see both narita, gimpo and incheon airports from above, nice coverage. Austria is known for Viennese coffee and that unrecognizable dessert looked like japanese mochi(rice cake) and tomato pasta meh!

Flew the Austrian 777-200er from Newark to Vienna in summer of 2022. Flight was decent but only one option for food on both flights, both vegetarian and same meal. Crew was less than enthusiastic and only saw them at meal time and Newark was a shit show. May have all been because of some COVID era stuff because I had always heard great things about Austrian.

I love to see and travel aboard the 777!! Great plane, however as I recommended the exact same route (NRT) to be done with LOT. Compering their service with Austrian the Austrian is way worse that that of LOT, first service is way bigger, second one also hot meal with more items and even arrival into WAW is smts faster as with good weaher they fly through the North Pole! (13hrs). Dreamliner 789 operates the route and is so much better to survive on such a long haul than 777;) Nevertheless I love to see 777 action as I love it, rememer doing' 777 from VIE to LAX few years back, it was great and I miss it soooo much!!:P:P Cheers bro!

I flew BUD - ICN on LOT B789 in Eco and cabin service war rather unattentive. Mostly hungarian /romanian staff with purser from Poland. Food was "chicken or beef ?" - "chicken or beef ?" .-. Drink service was not every two hours. And windows were electronically dimmed 80% of flighttime. Was at that time the only option to get to Asia on shortnotice.

I was at Narita 9-10 times, either from Vienna or Inchon

A worn-out plane, judging by the flaps that have not been painted for a long time (27:59) 🤣🤣🤣

3:13. Never realized how close Guam is to Japan. Only 3h45m flight that UA seems to do 4x/day! Another great report with...not enough food...(LUFTHANSA GROUP 😡)

I have been in Tokyo-Narita (via Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific) on a round-trip across Japan (Honshu), South-Korea and Hongkong some years ago. We travelled by plane and train and had an interesting and impressing journey. I was especially impressed by the public transport (e.g. Shinkansen) with its punctuality and reliability.

Thanks for sharing. The food on Austrian airlines for a 14hr flight looks awful! I would not fly them on such a long flight based on this.

Onboard HD, you are very, very, very lucky to see those places from a plane! When I fly on a plane I usually don’t see such a landscapes!

Buen video fijate que de aca de Chile no hay vuelos directos al Asia de hecho antes de la.pandemia Emirates tenia el vuelo Santiago Dubai y de ahi hacer la conexion a Tokio pero despues de la pandemia Emirates se fue de.Chile pero igual hay varias rutas para viajar a Tokio desde Santiago de Chile via Sydney o Melbourne Australia Los Angelles CA Dallas o Houston en USA Mexico DF Sao Paulo Brasil via Doha o Dubai o via Londres Paris o Amsterdam en Europa esas son ls conexiones que hay desde Chile hacia Tokio la gran mayoria utiliza via Los Angeles CA Dallas Houston o Sydney Australia saludos desde Chile amigo me.a servido para conocer por aire al menos varios rincones del mundo

You take off from rwy 34L heading to nearly the north ,so the plane needs to turn a almost 270 degree in order to heading the west.

En el aerop. de Narita, se hace ese giro de 360 ya que Narita y Haneda no estan unidos en el mismo ATC, asi que se hace para ganar altura y entonces pasar sobre Haneda Como lo se? ATC4

En 2 meses a Kansai por segunda vez, la vuelta por Haneda, y también conocemos Narita de un viaje anterior. El vuelo lo hacemos con KLM
