I am one of the pilots of your flight. I am glad you enjoyed the flight. That day, we initially expected to take off from runway 28R (since runway 28L was closed), but the flight wasn't very heavy, and the wind direction was just right, allowing us to take off from the shorter runway 1R. This saved us a lot of time and also helped the SFO tower ease the congestion. I hope to have the opportunity to fly with you again in the future.
I'm taking this exact flight in about a month, thank you for giving me a preview of what to expect on my trip!
I flew the same flight on May 7th. Registration was B-16716. It took 13 hours and 41 mins to Taipei, i think because we flew over the middle part of the pacific ocean, and the tailwind was relatively slow. But great trip report!
My family and I just got back from DAD via this same flight. We were sitting in row 54. It was our first-time flying EVA, as we used to fly Cathay Pacific, albeit in Premium Economy. OMG! The food they provided was nasty.

@@FreeSpeech181 I thought the food was good when we were on their flight! Sorry you had not so good experience with the catering!
is the airline strict if you are 1-3kg over. how would you rate the flight from one to ten
Hi Andy good review. Thinking of booking exact seats 57a & b and want to get feedbacks. Did the bathroom nearby bother you and did people bump the isle seat often? Traveling with my elder mother who will take the isle seat. Thanks

@@phofo9826 There were some bit of time two or three ppl lined up for the lavatory behind us, but it wasn’t bothersome at all. I think most of the time ppl either waited in front of row 60 instead. I think among economy seats, 57A/B felt the most private especially for me and my wife.
