Great trip report aboard Delta's A321Neo JFK-LAS. A big disappointment of the uncomfortable First Class seat.

Arriving a hour early might seem like a good thing, but sometimes not.Since your so early there might still be a plane parked at your gate and it ain't leaving for another 45 minutes or so. Also there might be no ground crew to handle your flight since you are not suppose to be here yet....I know it is kind of fustrating but it happens.

the delta a220 used to fly to Vegas from LaGuardia, but unfortunatly the route ended up getting discontinued.

I know you are from the NY area but JFK has to be one of the junkiest delta hubs in the system and LaGuardia is quickly becoming the best northeast delta hub! But also thanks to the renovations at Minneapolis now, MSP might be the best delta hub in the near future. The huge renovation project at MSP is going by very very quickly concourses D and F are like over 50% done i think and they also started the renovations in late october to early november 2023! As for the a321neo, i also agree with first class comfort. The padding is not that good. I flew in comfort plus on my first 321NEO flight with them and i did not really get uncomfortable compared to first class where the padding is poor. The economy seats on the 321neo have to be the best i have ever sat in on delta.

I 100% agree with your opinion about the Delta hubs, I've always loved MSP since that became my 2nd base in mid-2020! I flew the A321neo in comfort plus a few weeks before and it was super comfortable.
