Awesome vid! Although old I love that Delta upgraded most of their transcontinental 757’s with mood lighting, it’s rare to see 757’s with that installed.

The ex-TWA units are interesting because they still have the old style overhead bins and window panels but have mood lighting. Many or most of Delta’s 757’s have a Boeing Sky Interior installed aftermarket which features mood lighting.

I remember taking one of these from ATL to SEA. Great plane.

I take it that you were flying out of JFK, that busy international airport in New York..That Alitalia 777 looked really nice turning into their gate.

Night flights into LAX sitting on the left side of the aircraft is something to see!!

Wow. Always liked the 757. First time was TWA or United.

How do you know which terminal to check-in? Because delta used Terminals 2 and 4, and I thought transcontinetal Delta flights usually depart from Terminal 4? (especially, to LAX, SFO, or SEA)

Although it was a "mature" plane, it was nicely refurbished. For an instant I thought the food service was unimpressive, but then I remembered that US domestic flights usually put you on a starvation diet, so this selection was good! Delta seems to get favorable reports from most reviewers.

What is the music in the beginning of the video when your plane spotting i need to know!

Interesting that the flight departed from T2. JFK to LAX is always out of T4 which also has the better Sky Club.

IFE is the same on all Delta aircraft, Execpt for the 717 and the MD 88 and MD 93 because they don’t have IFE onboard

When I flew Delta last summer ATL to LAS in a B752 some guy boarded really drunk and after the jetway was retracted and we had just pushed back he puked everywhere and it got on my mom and dad. Delayed two hours because of that then a further hour due to severe weather.

Try out the older United 737-900 From IAH to CZM and Americans 737-800 in economy from CZM to DFW plzz

Try Singapore airlines business class, probably the best airline out there.

That’s the same exact plane I flew on to phx

Delta is definitely better than AA (who isn't?), United and Alaska but I doubt it very much if they are better than JetBlue.

The 757 is easily one of Delta's worst planes to fly on in terms of comfort (its seats are very narrow compared to the new A321) but its beauty and performance make it my favorite plane to fly on.

I smiled when I realized the registration ended with TW....

hey quintin in less than a month american airlines will have its maddog fleet retired and omaha is one of its final cities to fly the maddogs also delta flys these md 88s from atlanta to omaha but not the md 90 by 2021 delta will have their maddogs retired
