I just love the presentation of the cabin, meals, etc. The Japanese really know attention to detail and how one does "eat with their eyes". So meticulous. Love ANA, will fly only with them.

to be honest this is one of the lower end business class in the market.

Thank you for this video. I travel to Tokyo for the first time tomorrow with ANA Business Class and suffer from an Anxiety Disorder, and this video was just what i needed to put my mind at rest about the flight.

Thanks for posting and great video! I just returned this weekend from a two week vacation to Japan on ANA Biz class from New York JFK to Tokyo Haneda. Love ANA's product and services. Love the 1-2-1 layout so that you have a lot of privacy, the Western meals were terrific, and my husband described the cabin service as "attentive and whisper light". What more can you ask for in biz? At JFK, ANA flies out of Terminal 7 (British Air), so we got to use the BA priority security and their lounge. From Haneda we did not rate for priority security unless we were gold class or in first, so that was a bit of a downer and it took 20 minutes to get through. The ANA lounge at Haneda is very hectic; it was actually calmer by the gate. Lastly, I had left my vest at security at JFK (thank goodness for Uniqlo!), ANA located the vest and held it until I returned; paging me in the baggage area to present it to me when I came home! That's what I call terrific service.

Awesome trip report! It's very wise of you to choose the Japanese meals, they were very tasty. ANA aircrafts really lack of moodlighting, but overall, they are still one of the best airlines in the world

Thank you! I’ll always choose Japanese meals whenever I can, especially on Japanese carriers! I do agree they could do with some more moody lighting, but everything else they do so well makes up for it!

And props to #ANA for not rechecking passengers boarding pass again upon entering the plane. The crew at the entrance of the boarding gate already did so why recheck like other airlines do.

I love the 777! I just got to fly on it from Miami to Los Angeles and will upload it soon. For now though I got to go on a trip from JFK-LAX on American's Flagship first. Have you all got to try that out yet? BTW video is looking great! 😀.

4 continuous ring bells from cockpit at the time of takeoff. What for? I guess 4-5 bells only used in emergency situation. For immediate attention for cabin crew, only 2 bells are usually used if I am not wrong

What happened with the thrust reverser was that you had a bum engine. That plane did not leave Narita as scheduled. Those aircraft land on long runways for a reason. That was one of them. You were in no danger at anytime. But someone got yelled at! Very good video.

does ana fly to both nrt and hnd from sfo? i noticed from the video that the plane arrived from hnd, and then flew to nrt.

5k on 77w is smaller area private and close to window and they don't block it like on 789

For ANA.. I need to stay on the plane as long as possible.

Could you access KZread while onboard? The ones on AIR CANADA sucks...

They are very polite but don't like filming but policy will change this year and they are super policy employee driven and will enforce it. SQ already changing so look out bloggers esp Sam Chui

Many airlines do! I've also received it from JAL, Cathay & Etihad!

ANA have a world class beverage service and choice and in F class have a seriously expensive sake for Japanese F pax and trAVELELRS ON INTERNATIONAL REPUTE AND some customers fly them F class for that reason alone ...true/. Also in F class and Diamond member I was offered 245kg baggage allowance .. very true so moved form HKG to TYO to home with a lot of baggage after 15 years AWAY AND worth it for F class not to pay excess baggage fees

Aromatic Kabosu is more like pomelo juice.

Those are optional, only require if the pilots think they need it to stop the plane in time. Also they did used a tinny little bit of reverse thrust.

Great video, but I don't care for any manner of seafood. I would hope there would be other menu choices besides salmon eggs, sablefish and squid.

That colour scheme and boxy seat and table design...I'm just not feeling it. It's pretty sterile and reminds me of a doctor's waiting room.
