I flew Air Europa from Miami to Madrid and return flight, back in 2011, and I was very pleased with the quality of the service. I made the same trip with United a few years later and the experience was not as good as with Air Europa. United has a lot of work to do.

Hello and thank you for the demo video. I´m flying Air Europa 2 weeks so I was wondering what the meals are like, the pasta looks decent, what was the other choice, chicken?

Will be flying the same route in 2 months! Just am not sure if there is food against payment or not? Do you know? Thanks!

How did you sleep? was there legroom for you to stretch? You didn't show any of those footages

I flew Bog -Mad 3 days ago and the meal sucks, just 2 meals. While from MAD - FCO not meal at all, u got to pay. with Air France 3 and alot, same for KLM (3 years ago) idk if has changed. Think wont fly with Air Europa, the good thing I flew in a B787

Are there any USB plugs on the plane?

Do you know if the economy seats have power outlets?

Unfortunately the seats didn't had power outlets. Both USB- and Universal-Poweroutlets were missing.

My wife and I will be doing UX92 (JFK-MAD) & UX91 (MAD-JFK) five months from now, on our way to Rome. How was the transfer/connection in the Madrid terminal? Was overhead bin space limited? How was overall customer service experience with Air Europa? Thanks for the heads up on the ear buds and no power!

Transfer at Madrid is very easy, though the distances within the Terminal are enormous! The immigration and security-check (which was only needed on the imbound flight from JFK to MAD) was done quickly. Overhead-bin space was limited, since lot's of people had carry-on baggage. So i recommend to board the plane sooner,. The boarding-processes of both flights were chaotic and boarding by groups was ignored by most passengers. Customer experience was okay, not very friendly though. You're welcome! :)

Thanks a lot for the info! I wasn't aware of the immigration/customs check an the connection airport (JFK-MAD-FCO). I have two hours between flights. Is that enough time? Also, because of having to go through immigration/Customs on the inbound leg, does that mean we will have to go through baggage claim and ticketing/check-in also?

Yes, that immigration and security-check is mandatory, since you are entering EU-Schengen Zone at MAD-Airport. Though this goes pretty quick, as mentioned. You will get your Boarding-Pass for your connecting-flight at JFK already, also the luggage will be checked through to Rome. So you just have to proceed to the gate of your onward-flight, after completing immigration/security-check. 2 hours should be enough time :)

@@BobisAviation it's true! a year ago I had to do a stop in Madrid to Valencia and the airport was hugee, and i needed to find the bathroom asap, but it's a very pretty airport

So, you couldn´t charge your phone during the flight, right?

Exactly. I had to bring my own powerbank to charge my phone.

Last year flew back on air Europa from Spain I got the ear buds for free cause I didn’t have a credit card
