Three years ago I flew Delta Atlanta-Houston and a drunk was sleeping on the three seats next to me. The attendants took a long time to revive him before we landed and once revived he ran through the concourse to ground transportation like a cheetah.

And thats why i prefer Delta than AA... I heard that AA have a bad behaving to the customers, dirty planes,,really dirty... I also miss AA old chrome livery :( Enjoyed my stay again!!!! Always, absolutely. From scorching summers in the Middle East to ice cold winters elsewhere.

I was a ramp agent for Spirit via a vendor Menzies. Great times. Until a manager came and single handedly ruined it as she wanted our vendor to go to DGS since her husband worked for Delta. I remember the quick turnaround times. I enjoyed flights that were delayed which meant we got to go back to the break room and have a long break. Or when flights were cancelled just unload the plane and drop the bags @ the baggage carousel and chill.

Another cracker of a honest review! I really wish US carriers would improve as they seem to be improving passenger comfort and updating livery’s etc but sometimes the service can let them down. I do hope so sometime in the future that we will see all avenues of US carriers decent. Denver airport is very interesting to say the least, can’t wait to watch the next one. 👏👍

You dont have to apologise, having a positive outlook is good but sometimes you just cant get it out from some airlines. Criticism for the bad and appreciation for the good is what airline review should all be about. Keep up the good work and hoping for more reviews from the US domestic circuit in the future ;)

Great Video! This exact thing happened to me when I flew from Salt Lake City to Miami on American last month when I asked the flight attendant for a coffee and coke she got annoyed and almost said no to me! I normally fly Delta as I have status with them and the flight attendants never have a problem with that request in the years I've flown with them

That’s unprofessional and unacceptable behavior from flight attendants. It’s only a matter of 30 extra seconds for them to serve an additional drink- why are they Getting Annoyed??? At least it was Good to see they are serving an entire can of soda/juice. On some flights they pour the soda to your cup and serve it that way. Never understand this - is that extra step for tightening airline budget?

@@samroy5967 I know right?! And I don't think they are doing it for budgeting purposes as the last three quarterly earnings they've reported record profit. I honestly think it's down to the flight attendants that don't want to do the extra work. But I know there are great ones. It's just very inconsistent level of customer service at AA unlike Delta or even Southwest in my opinion.

AA is my favorite local airline. They treat me very well. Only one time there was delay after delay that landed me in Austin ER with chest pains, i have extensive heart condition. Now AA takes care of me and every time when I travel AA make sure no one sits next to my seat.

I’m sure there are some good days on American. But in my experience I’ve just had way better ones on different airlines. Glad you enjoy them!

Since the last time I flew on AA year's ago, don't remember been that bad. Well normally I flew it to my country, and they always have their llanes clean, awesome service, ans good food in my opinion. Sad to see how another company got infected by bad guys. But hey, a least they sent you to the destination. Delta, JetBlue, and Southwest are the best! Sad they don't fly to my destination no more. Also, don't be to hard whit yourself naming the routes! Excellent video although!

I loved your honest review. I hope someone from AA is watching, specially the part about the dirty trays and carpet not cleaned properly.

Fortunately, United and Delta aren’t as bad especially on international flights but they are still nothing compared to European, Asian, and Middle Eastern airlines. At least they try!

Amazing video with great detail !! Have you ever flown into Denver? I’m thinking of flying there next month but I don’t do well with turbulence ( more so swaying and the rollercoaster feels) I’m wondering if the turbulence is bad flying into Denver or if I should just book a train ride what to do

Hey Carisa, thanks a lot! I’ve flown into Denver twice, there should be a United video around here where I fly to Denver. It’s a nice experience but I had a neighboor talking to me all descend so I missed a lot of views. But the ride was nice, I don’t remember any turbulence. Book a plane, it’s so much more fun!

Sorry you had to go through that. I avoid AA because they are the worst when it comes to delays. Delta is my go to airline when flying in the U.S.

Almost all US Airlines are like this, not just AA. Unfortunately, the European carriers are slowly catching up to be like US legacy carriers.

I’m very lucky to have a high frequent flier tier where I can just swap whatever, so I didn’t pay at all. I just have the experience with cancellations so I ensured to make my own arrangements when jumping off a sinking ship. It turned out to be the best choice as I saved myself from extra hours! I love Delta! Nil good memories ever on AA. But sadly it’s the one I collect the most miles with 😂

The pin inserted in the nose landing gear is a nose wheel steering bypass pin to isolate the steering control from the flight deck so that when the aircraft is being pushed back, the nose wheel steering cannot be operated from the flight deck. I hope I got it right. How do you manage to figure out where all those aircraft are arriving from or departing to?

I'd rather have a delay so they make sure the aircraft is cleaned properly. And if that is all they can offer in terms of inflight service on one hour and thirty minutes flight then I can only describe them as disgraceful....

That’s why I always take Clorox wipes with me and wipe down the tray tablesx seat belts, armrests, window shades etc. I would say Delta is the best. Recently flew on them and they damaged my baggage. It took me 5 minutes in their baggage claim office and I could do the rest online. Now to get a replacement baggage I just go to the website they give me and order the luggage I want, which by the way is more expensive than the one I had.

I used to during Covid until it started damaging my hands! I’ve got plain towels now and I used them this time 😊 I must have cleaned 100’s of plane seats in the past years!

I have a suggestion for all the KZread aviation vloggers and aviation geeks - when you are at the terminal and you spot a different cabin crew (they ALWAYS walk in pack lol) - film them and have the viewers guess which airline they represent based on their uniform. Some uniforms are so iconic they are obvious (like Emirates, Singapore, Thai) but others can be a challenge to guess. It’ll be a fun game for the aviation geeks. 😝

The flight deck is horribly dirty. Is it because of the tight turn arounds?

Out of the large 3 US carriers, American needs to improve, I recently had a interaction with them where the agent over the phone literally lied about my ticket being basic economy, when it clearly said main cabin, when I asked for a sup he lwft then came back and said they are allowing him to change the ticket. The next agent confirmed that this wasn't basic economy.

The plane looked absolutely disgusting. However, the views from the air were great.

Great report🙂but a disgusting cabin. Why don’t they clean?

The issue is that I have status with Oneworld so I kind of have to fly them sometimes.. But Delta’s product is great and on United I’ve met incredible people. It’s just American where so far I’ve had 0 nice experiences. Sad. I hope to fly Alaska soon as they’re oneworld! Thanks for watching!

There's absolutely no need to add the apostrophe before plural nouns e.g., A321s, CFM56s and IAE V2500s. By doing so it either means "A321 is..." or the posession of A321.

It’s hard to remember all the rules when you’ve got many languages you use on a daily basis, so typo’s are just a part of it.

American has been inching their way into our lives. Our family, ALWAYS would go fly Continental-then when they merged, we stuck with United. WHY? because American was always at least $100 more. Lately however, they seemed to have swapped places. United is FAR more expensive now. I wonder why that is? this is from the SOCAL area to Northeast OHIO.

I never see bus gates in the us btw:)

No, my frequent flier tier along with my fare allows for changes. So I was super lucky vs the other +150 people!

For American that was a petty bad experience, the cleanliness seemed a lot to be desired and what was that in the floor, no wonder you kept your feet clear, the toilet looked suspect too, you would of thought the cabin crew would of gone out of their way to keep passengers happy, is American the equivalent Ryanair 😉 in the US, it certainly appears so on this flight. But I your part a great detailed vid

That Dirt looks disgusting…inacceptable. For myself i prefer a clean Aircraft and On-Time Flight than streaming of Movies etc. and for such short Flights i think its not necessary. But for Kids its not that bad.

While on the subject of A321 trivia, some United insiders said that Unuted chose PW engines for their future A321s, even though they've been primarily a GE customer over the last 10 years. What do you think may have driven UA towards PW, despite CFMI having more commonality with MAX engines and PW engines having reliability issues?

That is a good question! I have no idea why they would do that, specially with all the known issues.. Perhaps price or lobbying for US products, as the LEAP engines are also partially European. I’ve got no idea!
