Bidder Jidder I know how you feel, the enemy for a long time has tried to convince me that suicide was my way to freedom, but it's a lie because it only leads to eternal separation from God. Jesus loves you so keep trusting that the seasons don't last forever no matter how beautiful or painful. Jesus has you here and makes you up every morning for a reason. You matter to Jesus so don't let the enemy win and seek God with all your might to show the enemy that God is the One who is all powerful and that the purpose that God has placed on your life will be accomplished in Jesus name.

I finally understand this video... The car represents Trip Lee's body. He was diagnosed with 'chronic fatigue syndrome' in 2007 (hence the line, "my body ain't been working right for 7 years"; this song was released in 2014). The disease often leaves Trip extremely exhausted and bedridden for days (maybe weeks). And the people attacking the car represent the attacks that are still coming Trip's way, despite the physical battle that he is currently facing. Yet through it all, Trip is still "enduring hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ" (2 Tim. 2:3). This is made apparent in his line, "Toast to the King, cheers to the ceiling. Feeling good, we gone make it to the finish." Trip's faith is in that glorious Day when his faith will be made evident and he is face-to-face with his LORD and Saviour, Jesus Christ, receiving the crown of life. He has set his affections on the things above (Coloss. 3:2)! But Jesus is still in the miracle-working business. By His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5) and I believe, wholeheartedly, that Jesus can heal our brother. I just said a prayer for William (Trip) and if you, too, will join me in praying and believing God to heal him, type "Amen."

I was saved by the Lord three or more years ago I'm now 15 so I'll tell my story my old doctor decided to change my medicine without my adult and my permission and the medicine gave me suicidal thoughts and actions and I cried out to the Lord asking him to help me because why I was doing all the suicidal thoughts and actions I even asked to help my parents know what to do they didn't why either and I even asked him to not let commit suicide and I tried more than ten times and he stopped me each time because I was still faithful but slowly walking away from him and I wasn't even wanting or trying to because I didn't know it was the medicine I wouldn't lie about it and I still remember everything that I need to myself and tbh I like that because it's reminds me to ask the Lord for help when the Devil messes with my head and the Lord always wins

Awesome song & video. The car represents our life & many will attack us because they judge by appearances. Yeah, we're all not perfect but God has made us righteous by His grace, not by our works. We all fall short of God's glory, but we must endure till the end & don't respond like the world. They may attack us with hatred, trash talking, & try to break our vision but we still have the victory. In Christ it is finished, the victory has been given to us. The oil spilling out at the end, might represent the anointing/Holy Spirit been poured out like the blood of Christ. His grace is sufficient for us, for His power is made perfect in our weakness. We as Christians can relate because we take that simply because we don't belong to this world and its customs so those that are of the world hate that. But through all of our persecution, it's working out for our good in the long run because after the tests and trials our OIL finally runs (Anointing). That's why I think Trip Lee used a car because what else can run oil after taking on miles and miles of beating?

Same here. I was diagnosed TODAY with OA and a bulging disc in my lumbar spine. It's been a rough few years and THIS YEAR in particular with more health issues and having to STOP teaching dance altogether as a dance leader at my church.

This is a good song. For me the vehicle represents our daily life or the body we have now. Then the person inside the vehicle is our spirit. As Christians we are on a journey on this earth going to a specific destination. So normally we are weak as persons and we try to move forward to our destination but we are attacked by the devil in different ways trying to stop us from continuing our road but we don't have to fear because all of those attacks are exterior they can't reach the one inside. Yeah we may be beaten, insulted, badly treated even killed and feel bad sometimes but all these they can't change what we really are (children of God). That is our spirit. We have to keep moving focused on where we are heading because we know that in Jesus Christ we already have victory. At the end we will realize that the body had nothing to do with the spirit bcz it will remain down here while the spirit will join our lovely Heavenly Father. 2nd August 2022 and it still hits hard. Jesus speaks to us in different ways. For some of us, the nostalgia of meeting our Savior and getting to know Him can be relived playing by tracks such as this one because of the impact it had on us back then.Thank you Trip Lee.

this is what i have been saying. when it comes to christian rap or christian rock, you don't see millions of view. but when it comes to secular music like drake, lil wayne, jay z, and beyonce, that is when you see milllions of view. what a shame. people needs to be listening to songs that make alot of sense like trip lee songs and lacrae.

I like to think that the purpose of reach record is to bring more people to faith, but everything starts small, so you can really expect millions of views on truth, people don't like the truth.

I was born at 6 months weighing in at 1.15 lbs. I was paralyzed on the right side of my body. Didn’t walk until I was five. my right leg is an inch shorter than my left. So I walk with a limp. I use to feel bad for myself until I discovered my “disability” was my super power it gave me purpose. Since then I began a career in IT I’ve served on the school committee of my local town. Became a photographer and was even an extra in a Netflix original movie. There is no limit in this world except for the ones you place in your mind. This life is to be designed by your desires for you to experience. believe you can do something and your half way there. Set goals and don’t let anyone stop you Don’t Tripp I’m still running even tho I’m limping. If you’re reading this I love you. ❤

Jonathan Herrera to me, the Cadillac represents Jesus. Even when he puts on the emblem on the hood of the car, that represent the crown of thorns. The car is getting beat up and that represents Jesus being beat up bearing the cross. When the windshield is pierced by the baseball bat, that represents Jesus side being pierced with spear. The oil leaking from the car represents Jesus blood. Trip Lee comes out of the car and unharmed and I think that means Jesus took all of our burdens for us so that we can have sweet victory. Hope that helps.

Everytime this song comes on my Spotify, first of all, I put it on repeat immediately 😂 but by the time I get to the line where he says "you don't know my life boy, you don't know my life boy, you don't know what it's been like on my wife, don't know my fight, boy. I'm tore up. When it gets to the end and Leah starts singing, it's a wrap, I'm in tears...I'm in 😭 as I type this. I love my wife so much, we've been married for almost 4 years, and there's been just so much that she's had to deal endure in Christ that I can't handle for her outside of praying and keeping her covered. Then comes me, lol as her husband, with my own burdens to carry. I'm called to walk alongside her...it's a lot sometimes, I think any honest husband will share that - and life has given us some tough moments...it just is what it is - and it's depicted in this video and these lyrics beautifully. But......praise God! He's kept us through the trials and tribulations, we've grown through sanctification and are keeping our eyes fixed in Jesus and pressing in toward paradise!..the enemy will not have any authority in this home! Your Kingdom knows no end, Jesus...sweet victory!! Thank you for this ministry in song, Trip!

Before he did the song, he explained why he wrote it, and the story behind it, how it represents his trial with a disease he has, and how he has hope and victory over that sickness. As the song was playing, I felt the Holy Spirit in that place. I tell you, the Lord's presence was so tangible. I am so glad I got the privilege to hear this beautiful song.

1/9/21 I have watched this video plenty of times, but today is the first time I really paid attention and thought of the car as my body which I maintain while here on earth. It gets bumped, bruised, has been abused, and doesn't look exactly as I would like; nonetheless, God's Spirit is inside me and Jesus Christ is the center of my faith just as the cross is inside the car. This is what blesses me and keeps me. There will come a time when my spirit must leave this body, and I will no longer be concerned about this body because I will be completely present with the Father. Thank you Trip Lee (God bless you and keep you according to Numbers 6:24-26 in Jesus' name)✌️♥️

Oh sis ... if this is your response to/application of the song, I'm thinking you missed the point. The song is raw, serious, emotional, and profound. The lyrics aren't so much wholesome as they are vulnerable, intense ... a heart cry and outstretched arm ... It's about life; you reduced it to sports.

The car actually represents Jesus, and the car suffered for the driver like Jesus died for his people. In the end of the video, the leaking gas represents the blood of Christ

I absolutely love this song. I get it. I understand the thorns. Pain has brought me closer to the Lord. I've learned to depend on the Lord. ❤️ We forget so easily when we're all good...then in suffering we learn so much. I remember the Faithfulness of the Lord when I get off track. I don't want to stay off..I need the Lord!
