    So much thanks for this nice documentation and especially thank you for the english translation. But I always wondered, do they regularly plant new plants or is this all wild grown wood? I mean so much briar has been extracted over the time and a good tree has to be around 50 years old. How does it work that the supply doesn't come to an end?

    I have never heard of briar plantations or anything like that. I think it’s all wild harvested. The number of people smoking briar pipes in 2021 has to be very small compared to 60 years ago.
