We have stayed in the Mar once and the Playa next door many times. Walking back from the beach to the Mar in July/Aug everyone calls it "the Hill of Death" Great video.

I am sure you will have a great time there. Check out my video from the volcano, rent a car in the hotel, there is a AVIS tablet for self booking, prices are ok( €80 per day ) for car booked only a day in advance, or pre book online now, drive to Calderon Hondo volcano, In my video you will see me going on the left side of the volcano, this was our mistake. You should follow the road ( keep to the right side of the volcano ), you will get to the balcony and stairs, we were climbing the sharp side 😂 for 2h, where we could be just walking 25 min…

what a excellent video i am visiting Occidental Jandia Mar in May, The beach at the bottom of the hill what's the difference what is better about the one you say? that the hotel bus takes you? many thanks good video

hi, thanks for your comment. I will soon be making a video about the beach. I have personally liked it because the hotel's beach was close to shops and toilet, also the was not so many big waves. In fact this whole beach is beautiful. you will love it anywhere you go.
