Trio Mandili Interview with Subtitles (POS TV)

Trio Mandili did this rare interview on April 6, 2021 on POS TV, a Georgian TV channel. Since I was interested in its topics, I ordered a translation.
In fact, I was thinking over before I published this interview. Relatively media unexperienced young women meet an interviewer who gets to know more private things than the young Trio would possibly like. However, nothing of it should make the Trio really feel uncomfortable or threaten their privacy.
Apart from that, it is fun to watch three charming and intelligent young ladies coping with not always well-thought-out guessing games. Well, two and a half, Mariam came a bit short. For a Trio Mandili fan watching this is well spent time.
Notes for international fans: If you are not that familiar with English, use the subtitles, then automatic translation (gear wheel symbol) and choose from a lot of languages.
Notes for Trio Mandili: My intention is to be fairer to all international fans of Trio Mandili who do not understand the Georgian language and to increase the popularity of Trio Mandili. If I were you, I would wear pants (not skirts) in interviews with (Georgian) television to make myself more comfortable. For your own protection, it is better to continue keep disclosing as little personal information as possible. And staying a little mysterious is never wrong for women. On the other hand, musicians and the media are interdependent in their need for public attention. The key is to weigh up things wisely.

Georgia must be very proud of the Trio, with their natural beauty, traditional culture, and wholesome appeal. I only knew of Georgia because of judo player Shota Karabelli. The Trio are great. 🥝🇳🇿🥋😊

A note for Trio Mandili fans who want to see the group live: Apparently, Trio Mandili will be performing in Toulouse on October 12, 2022 and Castres on October 14, 2022, both cities in the south of France. Tickets are probably already available.

The Trio Mandili is great! The interviewer was not that good. It is fine to ask questions of them together, but he should have asked some questions of each of them individually, so each can participate equally, and the public would know something more about them. Great singers and beautiful!
Mari is so meek and quiet , wow. May God bless them all with such beauty, truly a creation of the LORD God! Thank God for his creation.

They can speak English. Not the best of the best but they definetly learned it in school. Especially Tatuli is very confident in English - see the live stream of their Sakartvelo release concert

Found this in notifications for traditional music and had to look twice as I thought the young woman named Mari I think looked like Halime from Resurrection series actress Esra Bilgiç. I dare to not cause offence. After viewing some of their majic music I am convinced that the future is going to be even more beautiful. Everyone pines over Mari, and she is beautiful no doubt but the other two are just as well. But for me it's Tako all the way. Something in her shining personality, her vibrant smile and smiling eyes. I like to imagine her to be loyal, sweet, funny and perfect marriage material for some very lucky fellow. I'm not gonna lie, I wish that fellow was me but who knows, she may be completely different from how I imagine?.

That’s an easy question: It is a short sequence (0:45 onwards) from Trio Mandili’s “Bashi achuki”, released 17.04.2021.

@@kratoscraken5614 Well, the matter is a bit more complex. All three members of the Trio are genuine Georgians, but when the first successes came, the Trio looked for a manager. This manager is still working today and has his office in Italy. Hence the Italian KZread address.

I'm from Italy and, incredibly, the term "Mandilo" (Mandili is the plural) is an obsolete word wich indicates an handkerchief often used in past by women as headware knotted under the throat. I think the same meaning.

@@hegraditama Thank you for this information. Now the question remains, how the team of this Georgian showmaster knew the Indonesian singer and could include him in the show as a guessing game? Does an Indonesian work in Georgian TV, are Georgians so educated or is a Georgian TV employee a fan of this singer? Probably we will never know this.

@@rubengopro well, i discovered Trio Mandili after i got introduced to Georgian music (Gabriel's rendition of ადამიანი is awesome), and wanna know more about these girls, then i came across this video of yours and to my surprise that guy was here. So, beats me as well... i guess we'll never know lol.
