“You’re too beautiful to be 100% african” like what?? To me it’s just the other way around, like, to be this beautiful you gotta be 100% african Honestly I wish we could just shove some education down the person’s throat when they say something like that

You slayed and layed your mane and edges perfectly 💇🏾‍♀️🥰. You definitely let go of some of the old energy. Your respecting the movement and your own inner voice and taking a break was very respectful and self aware. So glad you took care of yourself in the meantime and are back with positive energy and light. 20/20 year is here to open our eyes wide to our own and many truths if you dare to look inward as the outer world seems to be on fire. So glad to hear you were able to school dude that the countries in Africa are as varied as the world over. All beings originated from the Mother Continent, so why not..🌍

Lollll at when you were talking about white people acting different😂😭😭 I can definitely relate. One thing I wanted to bring up is in response to your statement about never experiencing racism. Unfortunately every Black person in America experiences racism everyday. It is an institutionalized and systemic problem, which means that it affects the way the workforce, the food industry, the retail industry, the media treats us and portrays us. Racism is unfortunately so deeply ingrained in the many activities of everyday life in America that it sometimes feels like we’re not experiencing it. Perhaps it may not be visible or it may not feel direct, but it is certainly there, especially if the products or resources or services you utilize are not Black owned.
