Trim-less Glass Installed 70-74 Camaro
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Today we install the Fesler USA flush mounted glass in my 1971 Camaro. While I had planned to show every step, we just got side stepped due to interior and timings. I do my best to show the steps and before and after results. I hope you enjoy.

This looks amazing.
I find no fault in the looks, the installation of the glass. Superb.
Glass looks super clean!
I love it. I was going to do the same with my 70 . Now I know what to do and expect.
Wow, congratulations on the restoration of this Camaro it looks amazing.
Man, what a clean look. 👍 super sharp. Also, the slight gaps give it character. Absolutely nothing to worry over. Amazing ride👍
Looks really good. Modern and clean 👌
that is a gosh darn sexy engine bay
Great looking car
Yes, more modern looks Awesome...
Thanks Matt Happy New year...
Improvement after improvement, congratulations for this great work. Excellent ideas to improve our projects!!! Thank you for your generosity in sharing these improvements.-
I like it. Definitely a different look! I probably wouldn't add the extra urethane. I believe it would draw your eye to it more than the gap.
Helluva build I love it
Really nice build camaro ftw fr
very nice i love that car even more.
Beautiful car! I like the rear glass on the earlier year's. I had a '70 Pontiac "Esprit" in excellent condition. Also had a '18 ZL1 but sold it. I miss them both!
Nice 👍
Your out doing yourself Lethal. Myself the first glass looked fine, but I am not a perfectionist like you.
Looks good!
Been in the auto glass business for 30 years. My father actually had a body shop for 50 years. These flush-mounted glasses are nice but they aren't exact. We do them a lot. Do not and I repeat do not call somebody out to run urethane in between the glass and the body or you're going to have a mess on top of a mess that you never ever ever wished for. The Camaro looks good leave it alone
I think it came out awesome 👏 great job!
You can eliminate the chrome trim at the top of your door and the vertical chrome piece as well. Great job on the flush mount Fesler glass!
I would recommend not filling the gaps with urethane. It never looks right and sun fades it over time and it will look bad.
those gaps are nothing to complain about nothing is ever perfect when it comes to building a car
Nice job I like the trim but honestly you did a good decision I have 74 firebird I'm in bakersfield really nice camaro❤
Looks good, but guess I’m used to the shiny chrome trim. Wish I owned a ‘70 or ‘71!
Love the look of the glass but I know I'll do the body work on mine cause that gap on the back would bug the crap out of me

I honestly never notice it at this point, but it was something I had to get myself to live with as I wasn’t about to repaint the car over it.
Looks good 👍🏻 I prefer trim but not bad.

It dos look smooth and sleek. It wold definitely grow on me . I just like polishing stuff lmbo . Good choice of callers to . Dig the wheels also. Be proud my man .
U could always slap some louvers on the back window and would probably hide the gaps.

Not a fan of the Louvers on the early 2nd Gen Camaros
Put some por15 in the window channel
Great job, couple of questions, did you install spacing blocks or just use sealer to lift the flush glass to match the body work and how big are the gaps between the internal mouldings and glass? I’ve gone down the road of using a new style window rubber and the original glass to flush mount, as I’m in Perth it was too risky to ship the flesher glass here

Had blocks, than came back and filled the odd gaps

@@Lethalgarage thanks very much for the prompt response
May I ask what paint did you use on the metal cowl where the dash clips in and also all of interior metal.

@@Lethalgarage Oh ok thanks.
Did you have to add any metal to build up the frame?

As mentioned in the video, nothing was done outside of basic sanding before paint.
Did you end up sealing the gaps? On the rear

Not bad looking but if that was my car I would not be happy with the way the glass looks.

Compared to factory glass that was in the car, this is night and day better
