@@bemusedalligator It's a bit complex, modern versions can come with things like off-side safety plates, in tradition black power this could lead to multiple rounds firing at once (can't think of the term), but it largely comes down to caliber and tolernces to determine how much energy is being leaked by the cylinder gap that can burn the fuck out of your arm.

Ege Erdem because I'm a nerd I rewatched it closely and it appears that it's got the slide shape of a 1911 with a serrated trigger guard from a Sig. Though it's clearly an airsoft gun because it's all plastic so it's not really modeled on anything specific.

As a gun nut, this is just perfect. We are the best and the worst community.

Holy crap, has hell frozen over? KZreadrs that actually know their guns and gun safety! Even though I'm nearby up in dallas, it's pretty crazy to hear that the wording of our gun rules are almost the exact same. To top it off, I do happen to be one of those pedantics who harp on the mag vs clip phrasing. This video even helps to show me just how silly that is in the grand scheme of things. A clip is just a precursor to a magazine. and is still part of a it. In WW1 they would keep their bullets clipped together; now we have a fancy plastic case that covers the clip to keep the bullets clean, and that CASE is known as a magazine. 1 magazine holds 1 clip of bullets, so "loading a new clip" is THE SAME as loading a new magazine in the context of useful language, because a magazine is simply the container that clips are in. The only difference is that "loading a new clip" COULD mean that you are going to take out your empty mag, refill it with loose bullets, and then load that same magazine back into your gun keeping the old magazine and using a new clip; whereas loading a new magazine COULD mean that you could in fact have a full clip in your gun's magazine, pop out that magazine, empty the clip, load it into the new magazine, and put that in your gun, keeping the old clip but using a magazine. In reality the use of that either phrase means you are getting a new mag that contains a new clip, because moving individual bullets between magazines in the middle of a fight is dumb.There are a few types of guns that don't' have magazines (mostly revolvers) but do have clips, and that is the only case where "new magazine" is technically incorrect, but remember that the purpose of communication is served either way.

@@bemusedalligator No, that's honestly very incorrect. A clip is not a precursor. Rifles with internal magazines predate the clip, but prior to the world wars they were generally tubular magazines that followed under the barrel. Today, we think of this feature as only being used in shotguns or lever guns, but it was a common feature of European military rifles in the later half of the 1800s and even up into early World War I for some nations that were behind the technological curve. (Though the US never really adopted much in the way of tube magazine rifles other than some units in the civil war, skipping from muskets to single shot trapdoors, to the internal box magazine Krag rifle that had to be fed loose ammo by hand before jumping to stripper clips, then en-bloc clips... and eventually getting to detachable magazines almost 15 years after everyone else.) The rifles you're referring to in the world wars typically had internal magazines (Mostly. Some rare cases had detachable magazines but it wasn't a common feature yet, much less a standard one like it is for many rifles today. It was also common to not detach the magazine and instead feed the weapon with stripper clips anyways. The Lee-Enfield and all of it's variant models for example.) You feed a magazine with a clip or a loading tool, depending on the type of magazine and the weapon's feed mechanism. Loading tools are typically for the detachable magazines, but there are some that are designed to feed with stripper clips. Some early semi-automatic weapons were even intended to work that way as those who were issued them in military service would only be issued the one magazine with them and expected to constantly feed it by hand or with a stripper clip. Today, this practice would considered completely insane as magazines are considered largely expendable and expected to break or wear out eventually. Revolvers are definitely very different because the cylinder contains multiple chambers. There is no magazine, or feeding device other than your hands. You can use a speed loader to aid you for some revolvers. Some revolvers also have purpose designed clips for quickly feeding and extracting spent casings, but this is a pretty case-by-case basis.

Rhubarb, through and through. Zucchini is 100% (culinary) vegetable, with no fruity texture, flavor, or sweetness. Rhubarb on the other hand is used like a fruit in many cases, and has the flavor, the texture, and the acidity to back it up. Sugar needs to be added, but it's workable.

It thought the video was fairly pro- "firearm enthusiast", rather than mocking them. To mock them would be to disregard the safety rules and caricaturize them as "durr hurr guns r cool lel".

Which is why they were pointing loaded weapons at each other throughout, before opening fire on the first third party in sight.

They forgot rule 2, don’t point your gun at something you’re not willing lose and/or shoot.

I absolutely loved how Rachel was holding the rifle, and the beautiful shooting/getting shot choreography. A nice older video reference as a bonus, too, I love it. Haven't laughed this hard since the last sketch, keep up the good work guys. Also, I don't think Ian holding the triggers by his pinkies is a Soul Eater reference, but I am definetly choosing to believe it.

I remember when you guys had, like, 5k subs. I'm so proud of you!

Jokes aside, I don't know why you have "clip" and "magazine". We only have one word for it in Hebrew, and it works well.

@@juckya9660 You can't necessarily mix and match bullets of different weapons even when they have the same loading mechanism, so I feel like it's a redundant distinction.

I was waiting for him to say "we're so going to jail" after that pause.

Yep that's the same actress. She first appeared in Sims: Always Check Hallways, but only recently became a regular cast member. Queen Elizabeth is her most Notable performance in terms of views.
