I have PTSD with agoraphobia and panic disorder and anxiety and this sermon popped up on me and literally has me in tears with words I needed to hear and reflect on. Thank you Jesus for guiding me to the people and words that are meant for my healing 🙏🏼

I was diagnosed with anxiety a few years ago, but the past few months I decided I'm not going to claim that over my life! If it isn't from God, I don't want it. While I have still had a few anxiety attacks-- when I start to feel one coming on I pray and ask DECLARE that it won't take over. God is good and is freeing me from this!

I really understand your struggle because I too fight anxiety and panic attacks. I know the pain and the confusion. Just keep praying, it’s all in God’s timing when the healing will come. 5 years later I’m stumbling on this sermon, I needed to hear this 🙏🏾

“We’re teaching people they can get swole without being sore”

I don’t need a doctor or counselor. I need you to help me learn and remember who I am and help me learn the word of God.

“God gave you energy when you were exhausted” I was so tired from the contractions that started at 10pm very consistently until 7am, and yet i am not ready for labor , only at 3cm. So without good rest, at 8am they had to induce the contraction to be stronger and it went on until 2pm, and by the time i was ready for labor, i was out of energy. Trying to push my baby out for an hour, doctors and nurses was trying to scare me / encourage me etc to give me the motivation to push my baby out.. But i gave up. I was falling asleep in the midst of the chaos. Whole night i was praying for the pain to go away but it got worst of course and i was crying in my heart telling “God I cant do this anymore, I don’t care if they would cut me open, i just want my baby out safely because i cant do it” At that moment after my cry i was guided by Holy Spirit to say in my heart, “ Jesus, give me the strength to push my baby out” and supernatural surge of energy immediately filled me and i became wide awake. After three long straight pushes, my first child, a baby girl safely arrived by God’s mighty hand. God is amazing. God will also lead you to pray when you are totally lost. Even at that moment of chaos in your life He will be there for you every second of your life.

Rhonda Richter Dana was PICU nurse and her mission field was her "kids" (patients) and their family and extended family members. She made a huge impact for Christ in her short 26 years. I will continue to hold her in my heart until I can hold her in Heaven. Life is fragile and short. We must all make it count for Christ.

Help us to stay present, Lord. Deliver us from evil and deliver us from self. Help us to heal deeply and to trust You with all of our failures, pain, the bad, the good, and the ugly. Help us to surrender every area of our lives to You, Jesus. Help us to not worry about anything but to pray about everything. Guard our minds from the spirit of deception, grant us hope in a hopeless world, help us to not fall for the spirit behind comparison, help us to be full of gratitude and help us to cling to You, Father. We pray we continue to hear Your word for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Guard our minds and hearts, ears and eyes. Break off the distractions, help us throw away our idols, and help us to fix our eyes upon You for You are the author and perfector of our faith in Jesus' name, amen.

We have overflow at the Ballantyne campus where we broadcast from. We seat 1800+ in the facility you see, plus 300 or so in overflow. There's 3 live services at Ballantyne each weekend and there's 5 other campuses within the Charlotte area. Elevation has 16 campuses total within the US and 1 campus in Toronto, Canada. I am blessed to be a part of the volunteer team and able to attend each week. I've seen our Outreach Ministries bring people from all over the world to visit in person. "intoxicated on our own opinions"... THIS, all of this, Pastor. Thank you for saying this. God's people have become so arrogant and vain, willing to defend immorality and immoral ppl because they're blinded by racism, tribalism, etc. Brother, you'd better keep preaching and blessing us with the Word. Thank you for giving us access to your sermons.

Sing the hand of God's one specific time that I can remember. I was working with my brother-in-law. Overwhelming amounts of material and I prayed God give me strength today. Allow me to do this job and get it done. I need your power. And within the next few minutes, the guy that owned the property sun came out and said hey, do you care if I bring my tractor out we can move this a lot faster. Amen And we got it done. How cool I prayed for strength and God sent me a tractor?

Everything comes to you at the right timing as by God's design. I am 3 years late on Watching and listening to this. But God is right on time with the deliverance of this message. God please humble me and let me walk in your light provide for me in my life what you have according to your plan as it is written. Take away every worry fear and anxiety I have over my life. This life is extremely hard. Please don't make it easier Lord but I ask for the Strength to endure whatever life throws at me to overcome the obstacles. Let not my pride get in the way of my humbleness when I do overcome obstacles. In Christ Jesus name I pray Amen and Amen!!!! Thank you Jesus I am gonna make it!

I was struggling with suicide because my mental illness and only thing stops me is love for my family and love i have from god. And when i took god back in my life I felt joy in life started come back.

GOD IS speaking .. We must DO what he says.. Even when it's hard, and it hurts cause the flesh is fighting against our spirit.. Nail it to the Cross by choice faith comes from in the heart and brings excitement, it's driven in love. To where many think it's about how well they can quote scripture, how long they pray, intellect, education etc - truth is God don't need any of those all he needs is a willing heart.. A heart of humility will open doors we never knew existed , God will move in ways we never though of.. It's not about us it's Jesus Christ.. Amen.. I TRUST YOU.. God has anointed each of us for something we all have a gift , but most don't receive what God placed in us due to their pride and puffed up intellect. They think how God's gonna use you to teach me I have a college degree and your a high school drop out .. WATCH GOD move in that high school drop out and show himself strong through the high school drop out .. God ain't looking for what the world says is good and qualifies , he's looking for willing heart who will humble themself under his mighty hand and call on Jesus realizing we need Jesus every second of every minute of every hour of every day of every week of every month of every year . We NEED JESUS ..

Two years later this message spoke to me just when I needed it. I get so far into my own thoughts sometimes that it's scary. Thank you for sharing God's word and for helping me to realize that I'm not crazy and that I'm not alone. God bless this ministry and God bless you!

Kinda cool looking back how in 4 years God has shown me there is no God vs Satan. It's just God. Using anything He chooses. And Satan is still asking permission. Like in Job. I am so much happier and humbly confident from the struggles of the last 4 years. Stick with God y'all watch His plan unfold in your life and rejoice!!!!!

God gave me energy when I was tired but in a different way, I didn't want to go to a certain Job I was working at anymore because my boss at the time gave me impossible tasks just to watch me squirm and he admitted it, The Lord made me go to work anyway.

I had an experience similar to this, and soon the manager that was giving me a hard time left today I am still here and thriving, praise the lord!

I ask for God's will in my life. I am prosecuted at work but it is like the nicer I am, the worse it gets. Being humble and kind is seen as weakness in the factory I work in. I just pray for my enemies, doesn't usually start nice but then I realize they need God and I end up praying for them in earnest. I pray in gets better soon but I am trying to stand through it.

I am truly moved by your sermons. I have struggled with anxiety for 20+ years and there is NO medicine that can cure me- God is my healer but it’s a constant battle reminding myself that. Thank you for spreading the word. Bless you and the work you do for I know I am witness that God has the best plan for us all. I pray for renewal of minds in this room.. Amen

Good point; I get confused of what part is Gods job and what part is my job..The issue is always who is in control? whos responsibility is it?..A lot of anxiety comes from that..

Most High God I your Grace is beyond the understanding of a mortal man, but I thank You for being so clear at a time when things are hard for me to understand. Your whisper is louder than the shout of all my enemies combined and you will lift me up and give me victory as You have so many times before. As you grant me the honor of warring for your Name, please never allow me to accept any praise that belongs to you. It all does all praise is for the Lord. Please restore my ability to lean on You instead of my own weakness. I ask that you fight for those I love and I will try my best to focus on my assignment even though i am not even worthy of it. As you are willing to forgive the sins of the whole world, please please help me to forgive that one so i may finally have peace. Your will is perfect and mine leads to ruin save me from myself and remember that we are your possession. All I have is your will for me to work, please don't look at me too closely lest it offend you. I will fight for my brothers and sisters with all this heart you have given me. Please wake them up and give me the discernment to know what battles belong to me and I know beyond doubt if I release my battles it is impossible for You to lose them. As such I have already won. Please help me keep your vessel clean so its use may be worthy and honorable. I have no strength on my own, please restore me beyond my past. I thank You that you have heard me for I'm not even worthy to seek your presence. Protect my brothers and sisters and give us all the will to withstand Your purifying fire. Last Year around the 1st September I experienced what I thought to be a near death experience from drugs, which lead me to making the decision to follow Christ, but lately i've been slightly dealing with anxiety over the fact that September is a couple of weeks away and it brings a lot of fear towards that day which leads to insomnia, but i feel your massage today spoke a lot to me and it reminds me to stay strong in this season of my life. i'd like to say thank you.

Lego Kgoxy I totally feel the same way about this message. That "be ready, its coming your way". I found it on the bible when the King of Aram attack Jerusalem. Guess what happened? You get the victory. But the Lord said: "Be PREPARED, he will attack again next spring" (what's your spring?)

Best sermon I have heard from Pastor Furtick. I felt he opened up more and revealed a lot about his feelings and experiences, his core. I could relate, felt the pain and cried some, especially when he sang "I Will Cast All My Cares"/

People don't like the word humble, or humility because they are comfortable in their own insecurities, devices, opinions, arrogance, pride, complacency. Um... l can go on for day, but stop right there. We know who to turn to when troble starts, but in all those things l just mentioned we don't. We ALLOW Satan to confuse us into our own comfortability. Yet, we wonder why we still fail and rarely, if ever, pray to God for repentance and be humble!!! This should be a reality check of who the true "lizard" is in our lives and chop Satan off at the head!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jason Naugle YOU’D BETTER PREACH!!!!!!! Boy that statement about humility and pride....in praying that God enlighten a lost loved one about his pride and accountability in lieu of blaming other family members for his decisions. When I humbled myself, I found it in my heart to forgive, but it’s hard when he is prideful and continues to place blame on everyone except himself. God is good though so I continue in prayer and faith that he will change his heart, open his eyes and restore broken relationships.

Man this message was so powerful. It impacted me a lot. A lot of us really do judge ourselves when really we need to not be surprised by what we go through. We will always have challenges. We have to surrender them and give them to God. We only have God’s peace when we let go and release that control. The problem is it’s so hard and our minds can trick us. Especially Satan of what to control and want to let go. We must consistently seek the Holy Spirit and not judge ourselves when we can’t figure everything out. We struggle for a reason and we need a Savior for a reason. God uses it all!

I am thankful that our Father loves us so much he has planned for Victory...I have been set free of a physical and violent abusive relationship I was in. I will check into a treatment center Monday with his Sovereign Hand on me, to Heal my whole self in a sense, I am obeying, his protection, his promise is my life, he has always taken care of my heart, he brought me you and Holly, my life, my everything, I am ready, and I am so grateful for you ❤ 💙 💜 💖 💗 I love this moment, and I love I get to honestly and truly say I love you ALL, Steven, I am tipping my HAT, just tipping my hat, right to you, in Jesus name. 🏢💗💗

Tku for this message. Iam having terrible anxiety. I was diagnost withbreast Ca 2 months ago. I know I will be healed with the blood of Jesus. Yes the enemy wants me to be afraid but my God is stronger and he will carry me through this season in my life. Amen🙏

You have made my day, pastor.I battle depression and anxiety but I am sitting here in my car laughing at the truth you speak.you have put into words how I have felt and not been able to articulate, about the struggle getting harder after coming to Jesus.its such a relief to know that battling with anxiety after coming to Jesus doesn't mean I am not really saved. I am too surprised that I struggle.its so good to hear that adulthood is hard.I thought there was something wrong with me for struggling.thank you

Super amazing as usual. Pastor Steven has had a big impact on my life and I'm glad that God is using him to deliver this message about anxiety and taking control back. Because that's something that pastor's don't really dig into sometimes. So thank you. Can't wait to watch next week

When you dissect the scriptures on a daily basis, reading each chapter and verse as a science experiment, you will grow at a rate that will shock the world, because the “true” bible is as powerful and sharp as a two edged sword...

This is right on time!! God knows what we need, when we need it ! God revealed to me a couple of weeks ago that I'm living a defeated life because I'm letting the past things people did and said run thru my mind all the time. I've been working on refocusing my mind when those thoughts start pouring in. I speak to my mind and say "no. I'm not going back there". The battle is truly in the mind. back in the day Joyce Meyer wrote a really good book called "The Mind is the Battlefield". That could not be more true today than ever with all the voices thru social media, MSM and talk shows etc... coming at us all the time. Just say no when your mind starts to wander back down those dark hallways of pain, rejection or disappointment. Like Paul said press forward to the goal of the prize of the high calling of God!! Praise His Holy Name!! Praise God for the amazing way He's using this church to teach and bring healing and positive change to so many lives!!

I wish you could have seen how the Lord reached my heart thru your sermon, head bent over on crossed arms, completely silenced in His presence, as He showed me that He's got my life, my hopes, my dreams covered, over the baking in my kitchen. Keep your eyes fixed on Him who can answer your prayers infinitely more than you can even pray or imagine Pastor Steve Furtick, please be encouraged to keep speaking, God has many of His people listening. Eyes on Him, not on the haters... Don't give them a thought!

I was not in this room but I was the person being on edge with her prescribed medication and it's me who hasn't slept for 3 days except for a few minutes here and there actually way longer than 3 days . it touched me you reminded me what it is I am here for and that is 2 pass on the good news cos I have not chosen Jesus but he has chosen me. thank you for just letting the Holy Spirit speaks through you for not being embarrassed for not thinking I have to be tolerant. for being the Lords voice that night. I need to hear his voice and I came here after many screamo preachings and I can't take any more of those like you can lower your voice -even you- we hear you. and often I just need Jesus to speak to me in a tender voice not blast my ear drums. and also I don't remember Jesus screaming around except for one situation and of course the cross and probably many prayers to his father. thank you for just speaking the truth and not telling me that I'm doing something wrong and that's why I'm not being healed you can find many things Jesus taught me in the last days for instance that he says in the Bible that we are going to suffer here on Earth. and I realised for myself and for this generation that we have to turn from wondering about healing and making it our first priority to shifting our first priority to passing on the good news. Cause thats what Jesus did. healing many, he gave water to the thirsty but made it clear there is a well that never runs dry.

It is through the struggle that growth that is achieved when deny the lizard that want us to stop then we deny growth. I ask the god brings me more lizard moments and opportunities to deny its voice, for I know what is within me is greater than that what is outside of me. I know the strength has been placed in me, for he has placed it there. I know that as I believe in him, so I shall reap the harvest of the gifts and these labour's and tests will soon pass. For faith and rejoicing even in struggle is my sword.
