Introverts already have a tough time in India, especially as a child. Because India is predominantly an extrovert loving nation. Family and relatives feel something is wrong with a child if he is not engaging with other people as much as an extrovert kid. Having an illness that affects looks is just adding insult to injury. Glad he is doing well.

I can totally relate to this. Indian system in every way is f-ed up like, yaar people say mean things all the time and expect us to take it as a joke. But when you retaliate a similar thing, you're the mean one and their response is "Why can't you take a joke." I was bullied. Depressed as a child. I'm happy for Nischay that he came out of it sooner than me. It took me 11 years to finally realise you need to have a 'f--- all' attitude to live if you are an introverted guy. This whole - men need to be as per rule book thing is very inhumane. There are 7.9+ billion people in this world. everyone is different in their own way.
