This is why Snooze is so beautiful and meaningful. The repeated lyrics - "Dream, I hope it to be there with you at your creation and at the end of your life... Dream, the beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will the future be" - used in both songs but from two very different positions/perspectives in his life (edit: also, the JK/Jin version and the live version from the Wings tour are very much worth a listen/watch too)

I was just listening to this song this morning!!! I loveeee this version with Suran, the electric guitar really fits the intensity and angst of the lyrics. Suga lyrics always cut really deep and he raps with so much emotion. Suran does actually sing "Don't far away" but it really should be "Don't fall away". If i remember correctly Suga made a mistake when sending her the lyrics but he decided not to have her re-record it.

Yoongi songs always hit so deeply and hit your emotions. He is just raw putting his feelings out there. But he also offers so much comfort.

This is one of the songs that solidified Yoongi as my ult bias with the other 6 being constant wreckers but his passion and emotion that comes through just HITS home. Last June I had part of the lyrics to this song tattooed on my inner arm. "So Far Away Don't Fall Away" as a reminder to be kinder to myself but what I loved most about this song is how is starts out with heartbreaking, powerful lyrics that show intense pain and inner turmoil but the end feels hopeful. From what I remember the Dream section of the song is written/spoken in a higher form of Korean such as you'd hear in a church or religious text - so it almost becomes like a mantra you'd be repeating if that makes sense? Anyway I love both versions of the song but this one holds a special place in my heart because I heard it first and that electric guitar just makes me melt.

And this is a perfect example of why no artist can ever surpass BTS. They show us what should be expected from an artist by their fans - great range, amazing lyricism and musicality, drawing inspiration from personal stories and truth. Music for every feeling and every situation, BTS has it all. I am 100% spoiled for any other artist, ARMY for life!💜

Oh also he wrote a song for Suran that won him and her awards. Wine doesn’t feature him because he dug t have time but he got a rapper friend to duet with her and it’s such a good R&B song.

Yoongi is also my bias, funny to say when he's the one who makes me cry the most. Thank you for sharing your own struggles. His delivery here is gut wrenching, so vulnerable and real that I can't breath... He also used the dream part of his lyrics in Snooze. Don't Far away was an error from Suran herself that Yoongi kept. In the version with JK and Jin, they sing Don't fly away.

His first mix tape and particularly The Last and So far away made him my ultimate bias in BTS. He as an artist but also as a public well known figure influenced my life the way like nobody else in music industry has done before. His sensitivity for troubled topics delivery is absolutely unprecedented. Nobody like him. It is kinda ironic that even though his solo stuff is my everything I can´t listen to it very often because lets be real, its just too heavy and too hard hitting. Its so good and so uniquely honest you have to be in a right head space to receive it properly. So far brings goose bumps - always - and river of tears.

I recommend to you Suga's 'The Last' because in that song you will know how much he is struggling just to fulfill his dream of becoming a kpop idol but Suga didn't really want to be a kpop idol, he just want to be a rapper and producer, he didn't want to dance anymore but Bighit lied and cheated him so he became a kpop idol now

It is very courageous of you to tell this. Sometimes i get tears from songs from Yoongi because we can relate. It is better to tell how you feel then to hide your feeings.

Big hugs Tammy 💜💜 I think the lyrics are actually "don't fall away" but I'm not totally sure. A somewhat underrated Yoongi song I think you should react to is Dear My Friend. It's another deeply personal song, and I think it shows how deeply Yoongi loves. Definitely one to check out as a Yoongi bias.

OMG! I just looked it up because I didn’t know there is a JK and Jin verse. 😍 I’ve only been ARMY since 2022 and I’m only finding out about this now. 😭 Such a beautiful version! Love both versions though.

Suga hits your soul when we need to be introspective, and those same songs turn into soothing melody for healing. we have all been where you are right now when we hear Suga. He found you right when ya needed it

❣️🙏I personally feel this original version with Suran, who is a well known R&B vocalist, is preferable, though there is also a remix version made a bit later for Festa, which you might eventually want to hear as well, with JK & Jin singing Suran’s part. During a live concert, a version was sung by all vocalists! Interestingly enough Jimin was used as guide, draft to sing Suran’s original part. I’ve always felt original was more gut wrenching & more emotional, since it was first time ever recording. Yoongi even broke down in tears while recording it, as he did with several other songs, also from his first 2016 released mixtape, where he poured out his very essences, all his inner most feelings. The lyrics are amazing, so meaningful, heartfelt, but even more so during this original studio version he even broke down while recording it! Yoongi’s delivery once again , even more so emotional & gut-wrenching, in original recording, as well as hearing Suran’s so beautiful, haunting vocals that work so well! Yoongi always has such an emotional effect on me. Also the composition of this song, especially the guitar solo, which also is equally puts one in their feels!! Suga actually won award for Best R&B Producer of year when he worked with Suran on her own song, "Wine", as well as Suran won as Best R&B singer that yr 2018, as well. 🙏👍❤️‍🔥😍🙌🔥🔥 ❣️Side Note: Thank you so much for reacting to one of my requests. This song is a pure masterpiece 💜 I totally feel u i love all 7 but Yoongi is my bias, my angel who saves me when I have bad toughts. He makes me cry and feel comfort at the same time. I recommend you The Last from his first mixtape this song is hard but it resonate so much with me. I recommend also Intro Nevermind from him and First love (about his love for piano so beautiful it makes me cry also 😭) 💜

Suga didn’t have a long gf that cheated on him , that’s was jhope but i don’t know if she cheated , she just ended the relationship cuz she wanted to be with another guy and that was like around their debut day.. The story we know about suga is that he is just shy ( like a lot of SK dudes ) when it comes to that. So he couldn’t be a good bf cuz he was just awkward ofc all of this is the typical high school immature romance that got out cuz they weren’t in Bts , after that is hard to tell but they are all adults I’m sure the way they are is way different just like anyone like us.

I find both versions beautiful, though Jin and JK seem to be supporting Suga in their version. Suga is a very deep guy and we are here for him. I love it in a later song that he says I'm Fine and makes a song of it, very Suga. It seems to me he always draws the ladies in with his songs so most of his collabs are with women. Suran, Aurora, and IU, I think they are drawn in by his big heart. 💜💋💋💜👑👑

Ohh it interesting that you feel that way- about supporting thing, bc Suga didn't record his part again he used the same audio he recorded the first time (he talked about it when BTS version come out, it was gift for first anniversary of mixtape) only Jin and JK recorded their voices and he mixed it that why and added melody from First love, that is also why they sing at the end "first love". And I'm saying it is interesting bc it all depends on mixing maybe he wanted it to feel more cozy and instruments did have a vibe like it so he made vocals like it too... For me this version is a little to clean\clam. But it was great gift. I like Suran version bc I prefer guitar sound and more hard beat and it feel more raw, the vesion with boys have strings and is more ballad like hmm more softer in a way... Aurora? I don't know this one. It seems he has mostly collabs with women but at the end of the day actually he has more male collabs. There was: Suran, Lee Sora, Heize, Halsey, IU. And for males: Epic high, Psy, Omi, Max, Juice Wrld, Woosung, Yankie, Niihwa, Kim Jongwan and Ryuichi Sakamoto. (Plus BTS members) 😉
