The other think they can cheese last second, but don't mess with the powers of the dev's. Lol. I haven't laughed this much in a very long time xD

Zeepkist devs are truly the game devs people love, just having fun playing their game, using their abilities to make the game a little more funny

Tell Yannic they should add a host command that adds time to the round. That will fix the problem where one of you forget to change the default timer.

Fun fact, if you do the math, Yannic would’ve actually finished *just* before the end of the round without adding time. @9:33 there were 33 seconds left, and @10:04 Yannic finishes (2 seconds before the actual round would’ve ended)!!! Still hilarious and made me laugh heavily :) just thought it was funny

Well hidden cheeses Dapper. You can certainly be proud of that track for sure. I love that Unic had the "Development photomode" thingy and also made the track end after he made 1 podium.

It's the fact that you're losing speed by turning up top, and there's a booster instead underneath, that makes the 2nd faster. barely faster at all, but it's the easiest shortcut to find and execute, so gets the least benefit of the shortcuts. But it is faster. Slightly.

The best thing is, Fiets would still get the first place even without the extra time, with like 1 second remaining on the clock.

That was hilarious. They remind me of the early days of gaming, back when it was about having fun.

Exactly! I’m usually not into online gaming all that much because of the toxic competitiveness (and commercial exploitation) but Zeepkist is one of those beautiful exceptions

I think that the collaborative nature of Zeepkist really helps with the vibes. That, and the smart decision to have ghosting enabled in online lobbies so nobody can grief other players

I want to play this game just because of how awesome the developers are it’s truly nice to see that type of interaction in today’s world from developers

Great video and track overall, and completely fantastic ending! I'm sure these kinds of cheeses are more difficult to implement but I personally enjoy this kind significantly more as the cheese still offers a hidden advantage but you've got the added element of making the track significantly more difficult as the cost.

I watch these videos with my 9yr old and when we get to dapper’s track he starts yelling, “where’s the cheese dapper! Dapper, where’s the cheese!” 😂

I played the ending repeatedly, had me cracking so bad xD

I would have loved it if some had just barely beaten Yannic right before Saty ended the round

The addition of a cheese run at the end is a very welcome one. Sometimes you don't get to shine during the match, but this way we still get to experience what could've been :D

Potentially interesting information: American "Gas" is short for Gasoline. Gasoline was a trademark in 1864 England for the compound.

This was a very close to heart for me design of a map. Beautiful. Would love an Island specific theme some day, even though this one had two maps. Like say the theme could be islands but them maybe you go through caves or tunnels in the sand, maybe you circle the island along the shore, go through the main town or square from one beach shore to the other, could make bridges that cross between them but the bridges or broken down or have a lot of jumps. The island and lighthouse detail was very nice, kinda wish there was a little house to but np.

Dapper, I don't play this game, but I love watching your vids, but many times we never get to see the interesting short cuts you make because time runs out on the multiplayer race. Would it be possible for you to add a single run at the end of the vid showing the hidden cuts you added?

On the gas conversation gas is short for gasoline and when the engine uses it, it is in a gaseous or near gaseous state.

I gotta say fiets38 is my favorite driver. I have never seen him, but I like the name and he’s almost always on the leaderboard.
