I started off my skate lifestyle doing lots of downhill and speed skating (San Francisco). And I've also acquired my worst fall ever and some real good road rash. My only regret that day was not using my knee pads. I had practiced bailing at high speeds in a controlled situation but froze up on the real thing. Hit the ledge, superman flew, and road rash all of my forearms, thigh, and back 😭 took 2 months for the open wound to heal and 4-6 months for the nerve damage to heal 😅😅😅 didn't touch a hill for 4 months, have never touched the hill I fell on even though I live on it 😂

I complete the two foot turn when I suddenly hit a down slope, didn't see it coming. I remembered this advice and dropped low to my toe stop. I think this saved my life thanks.
