Hi, for me personally it's much easier to go for the Thielemann formula. He simplified Hanau's factors in a formula for balanced articulation. K × I / OP × C × OK. Where, K = Condyle guidance. I = Incisal guidance. OP = Inclination of the occlusal plane. C = Cusp height inclinations. OK = Curvature of the occlusal surfaces. Great videos, best regards!

Actually if you understand Theilmann formular, you dont have to remember all of this pattern. It’s just the equation.

No need to remember all things. You only need to remember Theilman's formula. Based on that you can easily derive which factor will go up and which will go down.

It is better asked as why does IG Inc with Inc in CG.. probably bcz a steeper path allows greater space in the posterior region, which further allows placing steeper cups without occlusal interference... greater cusp height will require greater IG for posterior teeth separation..
