how did you set up your burner? Amazing you are able to increase the loop size! That is so hard to do. I saw Nolan Leach do that a while back and I have been trying ever since. I dont think I have my burner setup correctly. I first used a piece of leather then I talked with a older Mexican dude who tole me a piece of rubber innertube is the ticket. Neither seem to be working for me. Great work!

this is just my breakaway rope, so its got a normal rawhide burner. I did have a rope I put a leather burner on and all it really did was help keep the loop open. With the leather it kinda keeps the same size loop. Most the time I just use the rawhide burner that comes on the rope.

It is amazing you are able to keep the rope from collapsing. Not only that but you are able to manipulate the size of the loop! I ordered the exact rope you mentioned (the 9.0 cactus relentless). It has helped me tremendously! But at this point there is no way I can keep a loop going without either re tying the honda smaller or zip tying it smaller in addition to using the leather burner. I really dont know at this point what I am doing wrong. I was blaming the rope. But it's clear it is me. Frustrating. I practice every day. Thanks for the help! I appreciate it!
