This happened to me after falling 6 feet from climbing a fence. Ended up dislocating elbow and tearing that tendon. Luckly it wasn't too bad and just getting it in place and time would've healed it. But my dumbass accidentally re-dislocated it again re-tearing it (happened by propping myself up with my left arm from bed in tge morning too fast). Luckily it was still healable without this surgery. But if i do it again i will have to undergo this surgery. This inspires me to be extra careful 😅.

@@-wholesometree-8945 personally if you’re young teens, 20s you should be fine but it doesn’t affect people until later ages when the body is much less resilient.

Healing would be process, and the best outcomes would take strict adherence to rest, recovery, and rehabilitation protocols. Range of motion and strength would slowly be restored. But again I wouldnt anticipate an injury like this. Just be appropriately cautious.

This happened to me in a domestic violence incident when I was slammed onto the floor. I broke my elbow as well. I have a plate, a rod, and screws holding it together now. It’s been 2 years and it’s still a 7 on the pain scale constantly. I couldn’t turn a door knob even for months. Absolute worst pain in the world. Nothing comes close.
