Arts Council paid tribute to the iconic legend in the world of music Ustad Fateh Ali Khan (1935-2017). The event was held to honour his legacy after his recent demise. His son Rustam Fateh Ali Khan shared about his father's life and times and thanked Ahmed Shah, ACP and everyone involved in putting the event together. He also performed at the event. Others who spoke at the event included Ustad, Naseeruddin Sami, Farrukh Bashir, Ayla Raza, Ibrahim Khan and Sharif Awan. The event also had live performances by Imran Ilyas Khan and Intezar Hussain.

    @aashish chutani your insanity and lack of knowledge is evident. Go and search through your books as to who invented the Sitar, Tabla and many other instruments. Those were invented by Hazrat Amir Khusroo who was a Muslim. Many raaga were developed by muslim singers. I didn't want to bring religion in here but for people with low esteem it's important to show them their reality! And stop being a key board warrior!
